The 5 Best Movies Ever: My Opinion
Jul 09 '00
If you think you have a strange look at great movies, read this! My movies are modern, and mostly comedies, considering I don't watch a lot of old movies, sorry. I almost decided to put this under films of the 1990's, 1 movie stood in my way! Here are my favorite movies ever.
The #5 movie on my list is Happy Gilmore. Believe me or not, isn't this an Adam Sandler movie, and isn't he the funniest guy on the face on the Earth? Despite his magnificent acting, the script is hillarious and almost well made. Aren't dramas supposed to be the "well-made" ones. I'm gonna say Happy Gilmore was a well-made movie when Braveheart isn't on my list(even though Braveheart is a true story, I stand by my word!)
My #4 is that wacky movie The Sixth Man, about a guy who dies in the middle of a College Basketball season, and plays secretly as an invisible player. How much funnier can you get? If I get a good idea for a story, it's tied to this movie. Even though they may have ruined chances for those people like me, they got there first!
#3 is that thriller The Sixth Sense. I dreamed a dream similar to this movie. It was, believe it or not, a scary dream, but it's a thought provoking movie, no doubt about it! A kid who sees dead people, can that be real? Many well-written( yes, I mean well-written) scenes add up to the best finish to a movie ever. As a kind person, I won't blab. See for yourself for those who haven't seen it yet!
#2 is the oldest of these new films, Field Of Dreams. Once again, I mean it's a well written movie. It's sadness isn't even funny. It'll make even the least emotional to tears. If you aren't willing to show your emotions, forget this movie. This movie's best part is the field. I once vacationed up to Dyersville, Iowa to play on the field. It's great, and it's real!
I'm almost ashamed to say my #1 movie, but it's Big Daddy. That funny Adam Sandler decides to adopt a kid to show his girlfriend he's mature. Not only is he dumped anyway, but he can't find a foster family. But when they do, Sonny(Sandler) can't say goodbye. The end changes the whole movie, so if you think you have it figured out half way through the movie, you are probably wrong.
Those are an 11 year old's opinion of best movies. You can trust me if you want, or ignore and look for someone who's seen more movies, which personally, I'd honestly do. But this is my opinion!
