Lion of the Desert

Pros: Great hero/villain conflict; riveting battle scenes; Anthony Quinn!
Cons: Sometimes poor sound quality.

This is one of those rare obscure masterpieces that deserves much more attention than it got in the U.S. It probably didn't help that the real-life hero, Omar Mukhtar, was an Arab freedom fighter in Libya, not exactly one of the most popular countries...
