Pros: The acting, writing, directing, very funny, extras Cons: Some episodes aren't as good as others
In honor of this being Sex and the City's final season, I have decided to review some of the show's classic episodes that are available on DVD. I didn't really get into the show until the first season DVD came out. I had watched the show before, ...

Pros: Plenty of humorous observations mixed with engaging and believable soap-styled plots. Cons: Too much reliance on 'dramatic pull' means that the dialogue has decreased in quality.
Please Note: Although this review is tagged for spoilers, it also makes reference to significant plot developments from Sex and the City: Season Two. In addition, mentions of certain sexual topics and quotes incorporating coarse language are intended ...

Pros: An award winning season, some character depth added, John Corbett, full returning cast Cons: Could be a little racy or too sexual for some viewers
Season three was going to be the most successful for the show according to critics, who had started to really like the show, and began to shower it with the awards. HBO brought home the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, a Golden Globe for Best Comedy ...

Pros: The cast; the writers; the directors; the abundant special features Cons: Michael Patrick King's commentaries on episodes 10-12 resemble monotonously nightmarish renditions of Books-On-Tape.
Change is good.
At least that's what writer/director/creator Darren Star seems to believe. If he didn't, his highly successful and critically-acclaimed HBO cable series "Sex and the City" most likely wouldn't have taken home the Emmy Award for...

Pros: Original, crafty story lines with strong characters. Cons: Ethically bankrupt and spiritually empty.
I must admit that I am not a "Sex and the City" fan. This obviously has an impact on my opinion, but I am speaking with some authority because my fiance received this DVD collection as a gift and I sat through the episodes with a fairly open mind.

Pros: Wonderful DVD's, laid out well, lots of episodes! Cons: Absolutely no cons!
I am one of those people that didn't see the original series of Sex and the City on HBO. The first time I began to see these shows was when they came into syndication on TBS. When I began to see episodes from the third series air, I fell in love with ...

Pros: See how Aidan came into Carrie's life. Cons: There are none.
This is the funniest season of Sex in the City. This is the season where Aidan comes into Carrie's life. And the continuing role of Mr. Big in her life. If you love Samantha, you'll love season three. She is such a riot! This season is also explains...

Pros: The best show on HBO that will make anyone laugh, now available without HBO Cons: Warning!!! gratuitous nude scenes
Carrie Bradshaw has always been the central character in this show, which is more addictive than nicotine, but she truly becomes the main focus when she becomes involved in a tangle web of lies. Her relationships with her best friends, Miranda,...
