what tent

I have just started looking for a tent to buy. I have looked at everything it seems. I went to LLBean and looked at there tents and got some good advice. The man that I talked to said that if I wanted a tent that would hold up then I should spend the extra amount and get a tent that is a little thicker and better quality. He told me to look for netting over the windows that was made to keep the minges out. That would be the netting that has the really small holes. Usually these tents are made better and will withstand more. He also said that no matter what tent I get I should always put a tarp underneath it. This will keep the tent from wearing on the bottom.
I decided to look at different places to try and find my tent that I wanted. I ended up at a store that sells used tents and camping supplies. The lady there said that the tents where from the company. Most of the tents where used as displays in stores. I decided that this was the place I was going to get my tent. I don't really mind that other people looked at the tent I bought. It I can get a 300 dollar tent for 1/2 the price then I am going to do that.
