ClimbingShoes.com! The truth behind the internet company

Oct 08 '00

I bought a pair of ClimbingShoes.com's kermits. The only reason I bought them at the time was because I needed a pair of shoes for a reasonable price fast. When I was buying them I thought that they would be really bad, but to my surprise they actually were very comfortable and were a good all around shoe. The kermits perform well on edges to the tiniest cracks. The Kermit's sole design using Vibram® XSV rubber allows for smearing and is equally comfortable on all day big wall climbs, as well as quick sessions in your local rock gym. For the price, I would have to say that this is one of the best shoes you can get. When I bought them I only paid $50.
These are the technical specifications.

RECOMMENDED USAGE
General all around use. The Kermit performs well for beginners, intermediates and those spending long days on big walls.

RUBBER
Vibram® XSV

CONSTRUCTION
Slip lasted with 3mm Super-Flex® midsole

UPPER
· Split suede upper with full Cambrelle® lining

· Double needle anti-stretch stitching in combination with the Cambrelle® lining offers a shoe that is made to last

· Fully vented tongue allows for greater breathability so your shoes won't have your roomates climbing the walls once they are off your feet

· Single pull loop in heel

I recommend these shoes to all beginners or anyone that is in a financial bend.
