Details: When we designed the Creek 280, it had to be fast, it had to track, and it had to perform. The Creek 280 does all these and more. Shorter length means there is less swing-weight during low speed turns and spins. Less powerful paddlers find the 280 a breeze to correct. The Pyranha double concave hull allows this short boat extra speed, extra control, and extra tracking. Point it in a straight line and the center ridge tracks like a three meter boat. Lean into the turn and it crisply carves a perfect arc; the sharp edges gripping the water like snow tires for your kayak.
