Pros: Distinct ID Alerts; Clear Readout Cons: No text display; Voice unclear; Alerts could be a little louder
The Beltronics Corporation has good rate detectors at a respectable prices. The 870 Bel, again answers that budget minded consumer, with easy pricing.
The 870 is using the standard 800 series casing. The unit incorporates 4 buttons on the...

Pros: Budget priced, but a good performer Cons: More money in the Bel model line will buy even more sensitivity.
(NOTE: This is a continuation of radar detector opinions I have already written. Rather than have everyone grow tired of watching me repeat myself in each opinion, please read my opinions on the Bel 980 and the Cobra ESD-6500. I’m not trying to drive up...

Pros: other car geeks will think you're cool Cons: you won't know whether it's your cell phone or a radar cop, until the photo cops' flash goes off...

The buttons and functions are simple to use. The volume is controlled by pressing and holding the power button. Kinda weird at first, but once you have the volume set, you don't need to fiddle with it at all. I definitely prefer the electronic...

Pros: Not Annoying, effective Cons: Bad Visor clip, some false Ka alerts
I decided to rewrite my opinion after having my detector for a good four months. In the last four months I have only been pulled over once. This was for speeding, but the cop was using instant on. I don't think any other detector could have done any...

Pros: it does pick up the radar and lazer Cons: it also picks up other frequency's that cause it to go off
Yes folks it does work. I have many times broken the law
by speeding up and down the highways and this
device must have saved me at least ten times. I still
haven't recieved a ticket yet. Statistically radar
detectors lower your...
