| Returning in either sedan or Maxx hatchback bodystyles, the Malibu enters 2005 with few changes. Standard brakes on most trims have been upgraded, including the LS an LT models being now equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. The base sedan now offers a 1SC package, which includes color-keyed body side moldings and aluminum wheels. Safety restraint systems can now be improved with optional side impact air bags and front and rear head air bags. Options include a power sunroof, rear spoiler, a six-disc CD changer, a XM satellite radio, and aluminum wheels. Dark Blue replaces Navy Blue as an exterior paint choice for this year. |
