The reason I bought this phone. I had been anxiously waiting for some time, for this unit to be available in my area. When I saw my friend using it, I immediately asked him to buy me one. I paid $649.00 for it. The reason I have been patiently ...

One of the hottest and most stylish Smart Phones on the market is the Sony Ericsson P800. This $500 device closely resembles a large beefed up attractive cell phone with the keypad in place. But thanks to its attractive design, the Sony ...

Pros: Form factor, PDA features, Internet access Cons: Sync software needs work, no belt clip, complex, expensive
The P800 is a technological marvel: it is the most advanced cellphone available today. It is close to perfect for my needs, but there are some minor issues that bug me. My main reasons for choosing the P800 was that I wanted a cellphone with PDA features...

Pros: PDA, Color, Bluetooth, GPRS, Camera Cons: Large , no T9, Memory Stick Duo is proprietary and expensive.
I received a brand-spankin' new Sony Ericsson P800 yesterday to replace my T68i and I am absolutely amazed by this device. I ordered it directly from Sony Ericsson on 06 March and they quoted 4-6 weeks for delivery, it arrived in 13 days.
The...

Pros: Advanced device with camera and Tri-band phone. Cons: Large and heavy, average performance.
A lot of people still want these phones. Even the whisperings of a new model haven't tailed off demand such is the all encompassing ability of this "device". However after owning mine for 5 months I decided to move on. Features - Good and Bad ...

Pros: neat charger, battery life, memory sticks, games, internet, keypad, camera, all other features... Cons: size, price, stylus, errors...
Yes, it's a great phone, with a great color, and a great screen. You can even take off the flip to make the screen larger. However, there are a few flaws with the phone. Enough to stop a person from buying the phone... No. This phone has everything ...

Pros: Excellent PDA and phone functions, nice design, very reliable. Cons: Naturally larger than average phone - don't buy if you don't need a PDA too.
This phone's been out for a little while now, and Sony Ericsson have just released it's successor - the P900 - which has a more businesslike look, a camcorder function, and a more advanced screen (65k colours compared to 4k). The good news is that natural ...

Pros: Tons of functionality/features for it's average size. Cons: Mediocre PC connectivity/software, battery drainer, unappealing carrying case, underpowered CPU.
The P800 is so loaded with features and functionality, that my aim is to write a general review from a usage perspective, rather than a technical one. This device can do just about anything a palm-sized gadget is bred for: phone, camera, PDA, palm-top ...

Pros: Relatively small form factor for the class. Very comprehensive features. Cons: A bit thick. A bit awkward as a phone without headset. A bit pricey.
For several years I have been waiting for a small phone/palm device that I could sync with outlook. This is the first I have found worth considering. This unit has a nice sturdy design and great features. You can download a free opera browser for it...

It's good.......but not that good
by missm4girl ,Nov 13 '03
Pros: High tech, small, great warranty Cons: low grade pictures, confusing menus, expensive
When I bought this phone, the first thing that caught my eyes was the price, but considering the technology it offered, i guess it it was worth it. I immediately glance at the flip when opened it became a PDA - with a lot of confusing menus -. This is PDA / cell-phone / camera combo, who wouldn't want one. My only worries was it would fall (because i'm an outdoorsman) and break, so I used 2 cellphones, the blue and white plastic around around the exterior cover was like -breakable-. Above all this is a good product but for you who do not like the confusing menus, stay away. And the camera was awful, although you can adjust the settings, it was still awful
