Buyers who are Window user beware!
by ptsong ,Jan 31 '05
Pros: Excellent blue tooth for Apple but not Windows user.
Cons: This is a class 2(33 ft limit). The newer ones class 1(330ft limit) and cheaper.
Checked the MAC no. If it starts with 000D------ and you are using windows(Apple Computers not affected)tough luck. You have to download the version B3 drivers from their Support web site. After that you need to call them up for a code no. which you will need during the installation of the B3 driver. It seems that this batch misses the code being burnt in so it will not work with the drivers that came in the CD. Sound dumb but true. Their Tech support has been overwhelm with people calling in due to this oversight. What a bummer! Get other brand if you want to avoid these troubles. Not worth spending 2 to 3 hrs on the phone! I was a sucker to buy this.
