I tested this Epson Perfection 1670 Photo Flatbed Scanner with Canon LiDE 50, Canon LiDE 80, Canon 5000F, HP Scanjet 5550c and HP Scanjet 4670.
Epson Perfection 1670 is a clear winner of this little contest in terms of speed and quality of the scanned photos and documents. It’s not such slim and portable as Canons LiDE models, but the quality is beyond comparison.
