Details: SupR-Ply Series fast-action rods are handcrafted using Scott's innovative flex rating system. This system precisely calibrates and matches the individual sections of the rod based on its weight and stiffness. Each blank section is tested, then tips and butts of corresponding deflection strength are chosen for precise balance and incomparable consistency. The SupR-Ply specialized hollow internal ferrule has less mass than a tip-over-butt ferrule and flexes with the rest of the rod to avoid flat spots or hinging, making them vastly superior to comparable multi-piece rods. Unidirectional carbon reinforcements ensure superior strength. Nickel silver reel seats with extra-select Cocobola barrels blend custom-like looks with lasting reliability. Blanks are finished with a deep-spruce, environmentally friendly, UV-cured paint.
