Garmin 010-00322-20 GPS Receiver

I bought the GPSmap 60c as my first GPS. I wanted to try geocaching and also use it for traveling. I had it up and running within 30 minutes of opening the box and it got better from there.

My wife and I went Geocaching the next day and when it said we were at the cache we were!! I haven't tried it for travel yet (will in a couple of weeks) but so far it's all good and very easy to use.

The screen is very clear and easy to read in any light condition (adj backlighting is required). Battery life is great, we're over 20 hours on a set of NiMh and still going, backlight was on to a degree most of the time.

I haven't found any big pitfalls yet. The mapsource City select was a little hard to install on the PC but was easy to download to the GPS unit.
