I recently bought the Presario 2100 Model 2140US. It has a little more than the listed in the "view details" on this sheet. For $1022.00 (I paid $1272.00 at Best Buy and will get $250 in rebates from the store and Compaq), I got:

Cons: Loud but effective fan

This is the best laptop I have ever had the pleasure of using. I bought it privately from a close friend and I have owned it now for 2 days. Throughout my computer using experience I have always wanted a laptop. This one was perfect for me. It has a 1.6GHZ Celeron Processor with a 30 gigabyte hard drive, a DVD player/CD-RW burner. This is definately the finest machine I have ever used from Compaq. I strongly recommend this laptop to the college student or anyone who wants incredible power without having to spend an arm and a leg!
