Pros: Good photo and print quality, reasonable ink useage (with seperate black cartridge). Cons: Broke after about a month and a half. Hopefully it's a one time thing.
This was a great printer. I got it as my first picture printing printer, to go with my new 4 MegaPixel camera. There was a "bundle" deal at Costco that seemed reasonable. It was a step up from the previous model, which was reviewed well and originally ...

Pros: Quick, quiet and great pictures Cons: Expensive ink cartridges but there is a workaround
This printer replaces my aging Epson Photo 700 so it at least had to match the photo print quality. I am glad to say it does and surpasses it greatly. I have printed some dozen or more 8x10's and 4x6's using various papers from HP, Kodak, Epson and ...

Pros: photo quality
LCD
Memory slots
nice design
price! Cons: expensive ink and paper
I originally bought the Canon i900D but traded it in favor of the 7760. The Canon was not very sharp and the colors seemed wrong.
I just bought the 7760 but so far so good. Easy set up, great tech help from HP, and amazing photos! Nice looking printer. I could not be happier!

Fantastic Printer...do you homework and see!

Pros: Fast and reliable. Outstanding quality on photo printing. Cons: None that I can recall
I bought this printer shortly after getting a digital camera. The quality of color photo printing is just wonderful. It is a very fast printer that can take all formats of memory sticks from digital cameras.

Broken after 16 pictures, stay away from this one
by scottkohrs ,Jan 25 '04
Pros: The pictures it did print were very good. Cons: Durability, Customer service, Response,
Bought the 7760 printer for photo printing. After printing 16 photos the unit states that the ink cartridges are bad. Bought new cartridges ($68) the printer did not operate with these cartridges either. Called the HP tech line with little luck, I do not speak the same language as the personnel at the call center. After several calls I finally got someone who was going to send a replacement. The replacement never arrived due to some error with the tech center. They would not send another replacement until 4 weeks later and several calls to the tech center. When the unit did show 5 weeks later it does not work with the cartridges either. Tested the cartridges on a friends 6110 and they worked fine. Called the tech center again, they are going to send another unit out. Just cant wait to see what it does.
