Pros: High quality, strong design, feature rich and attractive. Cons: Not intuitive for a new user; so new that some accessories are not available yet.
Note: the iPaq 4350 and 4355 are the same unit, marketed differently by HP to business users and retail/consumers. When you search online for the best price, check both units - in fact, some sites not only have different prices, but even offer free ...

Pros: Super functional, good battery, embedded wifi and bluetooth, SD card slot, software. Cons: None!
The 4350 strikes just the right balance between power and size. The embedded wifi and bluetooth connectivity is flawless and easy to use. It comes with Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 (Windows CE 4.2) and the .NET Compact Framework, so it's rock-solid ...

oh...my lust is growing
by sean808080 ,Feb 24 '04
Pros: super light and compact
high capacity battery
integrated wifi and bluetooth
Cons: no compact flash slot
not so cheap
case it comes with is kinda tacky
i wasnt sure about this ipaq until i saw this work of art in person...i have been a PDA hound since the apple newton days. i have used a smartphone 6035 for 2 years and got tired of waiting for verizon to upgrade their phones to something current that wasn't 600 dollars.
i got tired of waiting when i saw this feature packed beauty at a local superstore. the integrated keyboard sold me as did the superstrong battery and 400 mhz processor. the screen is bright and sharp and with the integrated wifi and bluetooth there is sure to be connectivity either through your network or your bluetooth enabled phone (please verizon approve one soon!!)
and in case you're wondering, the only difference between the 4350 and the 4355 is that hp identifies consumer and business products as ending in a 0 or a 5 respectively. in addition the 4355 gets 2 extra utilities (a picture viewer and file explorer) added into the package. very minor differences and the retail price difference is less than 10 dollars at most places.

All Around PDA, Fully loaded with Bluetooth, infrared, wireless, SDIO
by kyxz ,May 17 '04
Pros: Fully loaded, functional, great display Cons: A cell phone feature would be nice.
Ive had a Palm 505, and my cell phone is a Sony Ericsson P900 both could have been great but when mobile doing work using a stylus is awfully hard and connectivity needs some work. Ive looked around for a PDA with possibly all features available, and found the HP4350. With an interface similar to my laptop, desktop with instant Windows connectivity out of the box, now i could do more using the integrated keyboard even during my travels.

wonderful for student and businessmen
by apschn0 ,Jul 27 '04
Pros: screen, keyboard, battery, headphone jack, SD card slot, slim size Cons: poor factory carrying case
I ordered mine back in November of 2003 and have loved it since. As both a student in college and a coop at an automotive company, i find the product works well in both environments. The wifi is ideal for home and away with many airports, libraries, and offices beaming out free access points. The keyboard makes zipping emails easy. The screen is excellent and the transcriber program is the best I've seen. i use it as my mp3 player and portable video player. Free software is available that can compress dvd's to ~120 mb files with very good sound and video, so with one SD card, you can make a flight much more entertaining. the internal speaker is also very powerful (i play songs off of it while working out). Word and excel are also wonderful. To anyone considering this product, i say it can take the place of 3 devices b/c it combines video, mp3 and normal pda applications. the battery is also superb
