Hitachi DV-PF33U DVD Player / VCR Combo

Pros: good value, flexibility in a single device
Cons: VCR timer should show seconds

Our church uses this as part of the multimedia playback system for projection. It's a capable unit and performs as advertised. On DVD playback when you're in hold, the unit resumes quickly.

Our only complaint is that the VCR timer only shows H:MM, not H:MM:SS. That's a problem for locating specific spots on a tape for playback in/out cues.
