Not only is this product beautiful on your counter, it really works. The aroma is light and fresh, it lingers - but not too long - and the cleaning power is quite good.

We've used this on counters, to clean the refrigerator and even on the wood floor in the kitchen to clean up spills and messes. It's worked great for every mess we've pitted it against.

We first tried Method products through an introductory trial offer of full-sized cleaners and they've been the products of choice ever since.

Pros: Affordable, non-toxic, cruelty-free
Cons: None so far

I've recently begun a search for cruelty-free products... in this quest I've discovered that virtually ever household cleaning product manufacturer tests on animals. I've also learned they fill their products with toxic chemicals. After scouring my local Health Food store, I found several products but none quite excited me. Then I discovered Method on the net... and low and behold discovered Method is available at my local Target store! Of all the scents (Cucumber, Lavender, and Grapefruit) the Grapefruit was my favorite when I sniffed the bottles. It did an awesome job cleaning my flat top stove and didn't leave streaks. The scent is nice but not overpowering. I got a bottle for $3 around at Target.

Pros: smells great, non toxic, and they do their job
Cons: I really haven't found any. It is a little pricier but not too bad.

I've read a few reviews about method cleaning products being for light cleaning only. I totally disagree and have yet to experience this problem using these products. It may just be that many people in today's western culture expect everything they use to work in milli-seconds. For caked on residue you may actually have to...now wait for it... let it soak in for a whole minute or two! Wow that's like forever isn't it. Seriously though, I have purchased all of the Method cleaning products for two reasons:

1. Help the environment
2. The health of myself and more importantly my wife and 2 girls.

The glass cleaner does not leave streaks, the tub & tile cleaner removes soap scum like nothing and the all purpose cleaner is more than just a light weight cleaner.
