Decent clips. Not great.

Pros: Style. Cons: Wear out. Break.
I saw these clips in the store and bought them right away. My wife and I have had good luck with OXO products before, and these clips looked like a good buy.
I have to give them a mixed review, however. They do keep chips and cereal bags clipped tightly closed, and the little magnet on the side is good for clipping things to the refrigerator. They are stylish, too.
However, after a year's use, the rubber grips keep coming off, which is annoying. And, we've broken two of them by clipping things shut in the freezer (such as a frozen vegetable bag). Apparently, they can't handle the cold, and when you squeeze the frozen handles to release the clip, they're likely to break. It's possible that the manufacturer warns against this use and we didn't read the warning, but I can't say for sure.
All in all, aside from the magnet on the side, I can't see where these are any better (and, truthfully, they're probably worse) than a regular wooden clothes pin.
