Plays MP3, Color Display Not Viewable most angles
by pope_acid ,Feb 24 '04
Pros: Sound Quality, MP3 capability Cons: Display not view able most angles, Fader control difficult
The color version of this, designed for Marine use, has good sound, and plays MP3's and displays the title and artist on the display.
The problem is with the display on the COLOR version. Most angles, the display is not viewable. In my boat, it is mounted in the galley about 6 1/2 feet above the floor.
In order to read the display you need to either jump on a stool, or tilt the faceplate down.
Luckily, I only listen to a few stations.
The remote is nice, but you can't jump from one station to another. You can only advance the frequency. 101.1 (click)101.2(click), etc.
My old stereo, a cheap Jensen, the display was fine, but I needed one to be remote capable.
Other than the display, I would recommend it.
