Cons: Unstable with Y/C or YUV inputs. Buyer Beware!!!

This deck costs and has the features of a professional deck. Unfortunately, if you want to use it as a recorder, be very careful.

When recording via Y/C or YUV, the machine arbitrarily varies the wide aspect flag and makes any edit system go crazy back and forth between 4:3 to 16:9 and back. We tried two machines, and both had the same problem.

Customer support was useless and couldn't solve the problem. They said, don't use the YUV input.

DV in works fine.
