Capable performer

Pros: Sound quality; good remote features; CD changer works well. Cons: Nothing significant.
I received this boombox as a gift, so I can't comment on value for price. The only downside is that some of the programming is not very intuitive -- we really, truly had to read the manual to figure out how to set the clock, for example. It has very nice sound; decent bass. I've enjoyed it very much for over a year now. Its only quirk is that occasionally, it will hang up at the end of a CD track and simply stop there, without advancing to the next track. Easily remedied by using the remote or the unit itself to ask for the next track. So far, I'd take another one if the occasion arose.

This model must be from Junk-VC

Pros: Cheap, decent sound Cons: Cheap, not durable
Bought this for my son as a Christmas gift two years ago and had to send it back within five months for CD eject problems (under warranty). Shortly after it was returned (and out of warranty), began having more problems with the CDs -- not playing, won't eject, not advancing. Replaced it this Christmas with a Samsung. Good riddance, JVC!
