Pros: Good motor, good design, makes fresh juice. Cons: Food shoot is still too small, juice has a lot of particulate matter.
This is the Jack LaLanne power juicer called a centrifuge juicer. The Jack LaLanne power juicer first grinds the fruit/vegetable into pulp, then is spins the pulp around forcing the liquid and smallest particles through a mesh, then the Jack LaLanne ...

Pros: Quiet Operation, Maximum Juicing, Less Effort, Durable Construction, Heavy Duty, Fast, Convenient, Easy To Use. Cons: It doesn't wash itself. *kidding* Disadvantage: needs more accessories available. Thats it!
There have been many juicers in my kitchen. I've had the gamut: Juiceman, Breville, Sunbeam, Black & Decker, and more that's in too distant of memory. The first thing that I noticed was the quiet operation. Almost all juicers I've had before sound ...

Pros: Easy to use/Maximum juice output/Juice is smooth and frothy Cons: Expensive/A pain to clean
The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer is terrific. I use mine almost every day. It's easy and I like how I can put most fruit in whole without having to cut or peel. Apples, kiwi, grapes with or without seeds, and strawberries are just a few. ...

Pros: Does make great juice Cons: Pain to clean, not as easy as shown on tv
I like juice. I don't like the price of fresh squeezed juice at a juice bar. So, for the same reasons I got an espresso maker (it paid for itself in three months of not going to Starbucks) I decided to get a juicer. I learned from friends that the ...

Pros: Large opening, quiet operation Cons: Too big, splashes juice, waste container keeps coming off, not so easy to clean.
I saw this juicer on TV and of course it looked great, easy to use and clean. I needed a juicer for every day use, mostly vegetable juice. So when I saw it in the store, I immediately purchased it. When I got home and tried it out - I was disappointed. ...

Pros: Easy to use, easy to clean and very attractive design. Cons: Heavy, the unit can be difficult to store in your cabinets
First the power. I have never owned a juicer that has the power of the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer. I have crammed whole apples, carrots, celery, radish, turnips and beets through this juicer and the motor didn't fade one bit. Anyone who has ever used a ...

Pros: Healthy, works great, fast! Cons: Filter's a little difficult to clean, it does come with a helpful cleaning brush included.
Now I'm one of those people who knows all of the TV infomercials by heart but is to skeptical to actually take the plunge and purchase. I had a moment of weakness one day, a day when I was feeling like a wannabee health nut. I broke down and ordered ...

Pros: Easy to use, and lots of fun. The juice taste great. Cons: May not extract all the juice depending on the fruit used.
I have been house sitting for my parents as they went out on a 2 week cruise to Alaska. One of the appliances my father has in the kitchen is Jack La Lanne’s Power Juicer. My wife and I had to take advantage and use this baby while we’re at ...

Pros: Stylish, strong material, large chute, very easy cleaning, takes whole fruits, quiet. Cons: Rumbles with whole fruits, Spinning grill clogs after a 2 person serving.
I purchased the machine last week and I have to say it's a beauty : it's big, stylish and made out of strong enough plastic material. The spinning centrifuge grill is very large and allows very easy clean-up with the brush. The rest of the machine cleans ...

Pros: Produces lots of juice, motor quiet, requires little effort in applying pressure. Cons: Clogs easily, have to move fast to stop the rumble, must handle blade very carefully!
I was given a power juicer 2 days ago and I am amazed. In the beginning, I was shocked with the rumble when a piece of fruit hits the bottom. Its like you have to move at turbo speed to make sure you apply enough pressure! I was pleased with the texture ...

Pros: The Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer arrived quickly even though it was Christmas time. Cons: JLPJ chute isn't bigger and amount of juice was 35% less than Hamilton-Beach.
First of all, they offered to upgrade my Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer model if I paid the entire purchase in one payment. They sent the basic model and when I called them I was given a story. Finally I was promised they would return ...

Pros: The pulp that comes out is truly dry. Cleaning is very easy and simple. Cons: So far, no negative comments, it works well.
I had previously bought a juicer, so I was used to juicing, but I was not impressed by the time it took me to 'prepare' the food before juicing. When it broke down, I did not replace it. A few months later, on numerous occasions I saw the ...

Pros: Easy to use. Very quiet. Will juice just about anything! Tastes great! Cons: Chute needs to be a little larger for the larger sized apples.
This is absolutely an awesome juicer! I used to own an Oster juicer. It did fine. It took a lot of carrots to get a glass of juice -- I had more pulp than juice. And the noise? Loud doesn't describe it. This juicer? Far more juice and far less ...

Pros: It's so quiet and extracts a lot of juice. Fairly easy to clean. Cons: The pulp catcher is very loose and just doesn't seem to fit.
I've only owned one other juicer in my life and that was a disaster in the 80's. I waited a long long time before I found one that fit all my needs--and the Jack Lalanne juicer is it. I love the quiet hum it makes when I turn it on and the smell of ...

Thrilled with my thrift store find!
by fredshoney ,Jul 29 '04
Pros: Maximum juice output, quiet, effienct Cons: as with any juicer, cleaning!
I had a Jucieman Jr. and liked it just fine, but knew I wanted a more powerful appliance. Keeping my eye open while thrifting one day, I came across my new Jack LeLanne Power Juicer for a basement bargin price of $55.00!!! What a steal, brand new, never unpacked, still in the box. Someone above was watching out for me that day.
When I got my treasure find home, I went right to work, being a seasoned juicer! I made "Salad in a Glass" from the recipe book and it was great! I am thrilled with my new juicer and even more thrilled that I got it at such a steal!
As with most juicers, its not the easiest to clean, but that is a small price to pay for improved health!
