Cons: motor did not last.

Bought the Jack Lalane juicer a couple of years ago, and it worked great for the 1st year.   Used it today after not using it for months and the motor died.   It seems that if you pay a good price , that the motor would last for more than 2 years.   ONly used it for fruits, did not use it for vegatables, so the motor should have lasted longer.   I would not buy another one, since there are other less expensive models out on the market. 

Pros: Apples work best, but even so huge chunks of unprocessed apple get spit out.
Cons: Doesn' t process many veggies. Is messy, time-consuming, yields less, juice has pulp.

I have used an Acme Juicer since the 1970s and there is simply no comparison between that old machine and the Jack LaLanne Power Pro Juicer.
 
After three days of trying to make the Power Juicer Pro work (wasting produce, spending a ton of time juicing and cleaning up not just the juicer, but my entire kitchen counter), I shipped it back and retrieved my 30-year-old Acme from the Goodwill pile.  However, the trial cost me a total of $70 in postage.

This machine is very poorly designed.  Unfortunately the space alloted below doesn't allow me to provide the evidence of malfunction but hopefully you get the picture.
