Pros: Clean sound for mids/highs
Cons: Sub output lacks bottom end performance

The e4300 is a decent mid-range amplifier, does not do justice for subs. 2 pairs of Clarion 5.5 160watt midrange/tweeter component sets can be fully powered at full volume and still have -db of distortion. I tried 1 10wo and it was lacking bottom end, but still had a direct, clean, tight sound. I would recommend this amp for those who need to power their mids, and than use a 500/1 for subs!

The JL Audio e4300 is an awesome amp!! It's so good that I had to write a review for it. And I've had some great amps in my day. I love the "old school" amps, not the new stuff that's being made today. But this one is an exception. I've been installing for 9yrs or so and love this amp!!! My mids and highs are crisp, clean and very loud. Don't be fooled by its size for it's not very big physically, but the sound it outputs is tremendous!! (And I still have gain left!!!) I've got it ran in a 2 ohm load per channel in stereo and its holding up great!! I can't say how it sounds as far as for your low end because I haven't had it hooked up to any subs. I don't plan too either. It's too clean!!
