MTX Thunder T7512-04 Car Subwoofer

Pros: out standing bass a very good quality. good performace for the money
Cons: would like a little more SQ at the higher end

i had a 10 inch alpine type R in my Jimmy untill it blew. its was in a sead box and was feed 350 watts. the rubber seround came undone, so i returned it and upgraded to a 12 inch MTX 7500 SUB. i built a ported box out of 3/4 MDF to MTXs spec and let me tell you. this sub POUNDS. ive read reviews on the type R sayin they pound and this and that. NO type R can compair to this. i have never felt bass like this. hands down MTX wipes out the compition.
