Maxent MX-50X1 50 in. Plasma TV

Pros: Great value Great display Good functionality
Cons: Sound could be better - use an external sound source!

This is my first experience with a high definition TV.
This one met my needs because:
1. It had variable voltage (110-240V)
2. It could display NTSC and PAL
3. It had a terrific range of inputs (AV, Component, RGB)

The TV quality is fantastic Digital cable at 1080i is fantastic. DVD display quality is great. The screen is huge - hangs on the wall really well.

I got this one at Costco - it was good value, delivered on time and Costco's great return policy gave me some security around the purchase.

Not that I need that security at the minute, as the TV has been faultless. Had it for 7 months now.

I use a Harmon Kardon amp to play the sound, so I dont use the internal speakers.
