Pros: Perfect cel-shading, lots of features, multiple characters, turn-based combat, great storyline, best RPG for GameCube.
Cons: X's voiceover is poorly done, battles are a little too frequent.
MegaMan X and his pals Zero and Axl are back, along with 5 other playable characters including MegaMan X7's Axl, in a whole new cel-shaded RPG adventure, MegaMan X's first! It takes place in Giga City, where Mavericks have suddenly appeared and the leader, Epsilon, is behind the racket. After many Maverick Hunters were deployed and lost, X and Zero are called, along with newcomer Shadow, to investigate the happenings in Giga City. The game features turn-based combat, Final Fantasy X-style, mission-based storyline, Final Fantasy X-2-style, features Hyper Mode, which allows you to change form into a sweet-looking alternate costume that features special attacks, Action Trigger, which allow you to use each characters special unique attacks(X's Charge Shot, Zero's Z-Saber Tactics, etc.), and Final Strike, which allows all three characters to attack simultaneously to do devastating damage. This blend of awesome features, great storyline, cool unlockables, and the best cel-shaded graphics I've ever seen on any game make this a must-have for all MegaMan fans and one of the best for the Nintendo GameCube today.
