K7T Turbo limited Edition (RED MoBo)

Pros: Supports up to 1,8ghz Athlon low cost high performance system
Cons: None that I can think of, unless if saving money bothers you!
My latest system contains the K7T Turbo limited Edition Motherboard . I call this the heavy duty workhorse for high end systems at a low price.

The specifications say it all.

Great For The Budget Gamer

Pros: Upgradable, ATA-100, Onboard Sound, Easily Overclocked, Diagnostic LED's, Temp. Sensor
Cons: SD-RAM not DDR, On-Board Sound
I bought this motherboard, in July for my Computer which I primarily use for gaming. At the time DDR RAM was still too expensive, so I went for this one. I could list you all the features but they are on the MSI website....

Dead at six months.

Pros: None.
Cons: This brand has an apparent propensity to fail within six months.
I got my first K7T Pro motherboard in October of 2000 in a bundle package along with a case and a 750 MHz Athlon processor. I migrated my drives, cards and RAM from my older system to it, and it all seemed to work just fine.

Dead after a year.

Pros: Well written and thorough manual.
Cons: Unreliable.
Just over a year after owning this product it died in the same manner as described by a previous reviewer. The 4 diagnostic LEDs were stuck at red. Searching on the net has revealed this to be a common problem with this board.

I have 3 cpus using...

I have 3 cpus using this board running windows xp w/amd 1800mhz chips. Havent had any problems. I highly reccomend this board due to price, ease of install and the fact that it Performs very well.
