Pros: Perfect camera for a novice. Durable. Cons: Mode wheel can slip out of mode.
I still have problems regulating the thermostat in our home, I am minimally adept at dealing with my cell phone, minimally. I actually learned to scroll down to get a number, no small achievement for someone like me. I am an artist, I am not wired to do ...
Pros: Lots of features, good battery life, small, Mass storage option, good quality pictures Cons: No manual shutter, Blurry pictures sometimes, nothing to cover screen, no tiff/bmp
I got this camera to replace my Kodak CX4200 which broke :( and so far it has been a good investment. I don’t have any of the old battery-eating problems and hopefully it wont break. It looks far more advanced and durable than my old camera, and it isn’t ...
Pros: Nice solid feel, well made, easy to grip. Very readable menus, easy navigation.
Cons: No manual shutter or aperture adjustment. NikonView software not compatible with Windows98
For anyone mainly going to make small prints, put snapshots on the web or Email to friends and family, 2 megapixels is just right. I think 3 times optical zoom also falls into the same use category. The major camera manufacturers all have models like ...
Pros: One of the easiest and fastest, durable, nice pictures, built-in memory, small enough Cons: Low resolution, QuickTime movies, no sound
I wanted to get a camera for my son's fifth birthday. Something he would have fun with and not be frustrated by. I went to many stores and tried many cameras, looking for a camera that 1) was so easy a five-year old could use it, 2) had a short delay ...
Pros: Light, sturdy, small, cheap, but rich in features and excellent picture quality. Cons: Not enough memory included and video has no sound
I was amazed how light and sturdy the camera felt at first. It's a bit bigger than the Canon Digital Elph I had before (but was stolen while I was on vacation) and it's a bit lighter. It fits easily in a coat pocket. The construction feels really ...
Pros: Compact. Great grip. User-friendly. SD card and AA's! Cons: Plastic casing and...that's it!
The 2200 is the replacement of the last year's 2100 model. At 2 megapixels, it is ideal for printing your standard 4"x6" and 5"x7" size photos. You can print any size you feel like, but anything larger won't have as much definition and sharpness. It ...
Best camera for the price! by peer_gynt ,May 27 '05
Pros: Great feel, great for the price. Cons: 2,2 megapixels is on the low side.
This camera just feels right! Open the box and put it to use right away. Operation and menus are intuitive, no need to study long manuals.
A lot of folks keep griping about not having manual override. Well, if you want the shot where it happens, this little package delivers. Besides, with 15 programs to choose from, do you really need a completely manual mode?
For an entry level camera, this one is hard to beat. Although I can no longer get my hands on this camera - my daughter has laid claims to it - there is no doubt in my mind that my next digital camera will be a Coolpix, but one with a few more pixels. If I have any complaints, it would be the resolution. For blow-ups, you will want higher resolution, but snapshots this one works like a charm.
Pros: Compact and easy to use. Cons: Not all brands of SD memory card work.
Bought this camera about a year ago. It has some excellent scene settings. The zoom works well for most everyday shots. Red-eye reduction is particularly effective.
