This is the worst company there is on the web. Like all of you I didn't get what I ordered and after letters, calls, emails no response so filed with BBB of Seattle and they tried but Allzines is not a member. They got no response after 3 tries so then I filed with State of WA attorney general and they tried but said basically it was not in their jurisdiction and they needed more ammunition. Said they would keep my complaint and for future problems. I don't have the letter in front of me but I would suggest that everyone that has been cheated file a complaint. You can download form from AG office. I sent copies of everything including the guarantee. They are taking drips and drabs from people and figuring it is so small no one will bother. Wish I had read here first. I usually do but the one time I don't and this happens.

Never received magazine subscription. Can't speak to a live person. No one returns recorded messages or answers emails. They put your charge trough on your credit card the day you order it however like any subscription you have to wait 12 - 16 weeks for it to start, but with Allzines it NEVER STARS and by that time it is too late for your credit card company to charge it back!

One year later, still have not received my subsription (which was paid for) nor received a refund as asked. When I try to email them again, I get the mail returned as undeliverable due to overfull mailbox at customer service. I'm sure it is the same reason I have - more complaints than can handle! Would never buy from them again.

Ordered a magazine in July 2006 and haven't received it, nor any replies to my complaint. I wish I saw the reviews on this website before ordering from this company. I hope my credit card company will be able to get them to refund my money.

I wish I had read all these reviews before I ordered from these rip-off merchants! Same problem for me as everyone else. Ordered 5/19/06, they took my money and I received NOTHING. Emailed and reported problem 9/11/06. Received reply saying they are investigating and gave a case#. Today is 11/12/06 - looked at my case log and it says UNRESOLVED. Go figure! I have also tried the phone and mail - still nothing. So, I shall do what all the other complainants recommend - make a complaint with the FTC, the Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau and dispute the charge with my CC company. Why aren't these people closed down already?

Allzines is the worst web shopping experience I've ever had, bar none. 20 weeks, still no Time magazine. No correspondence no phone numbers, no customer service at all. 4 unanswered emails regarding my problem to their "help" desk. One was even "closed". I've written them...nothing. Now I can't get my refund per their own stated guarantee.

Stay away from this loser company.

Accord to BBB's records, they've received almost 300 complaints about this firm... not including the one I submitted about my subscription -- which the publisher says they've still not received, 16 weeks after it was ordered and paid at allzines.com.

I have the same reaction as most of the other reviewers on this site. After ordering a subscription to "Teen People" for my Granddaughter on 12/18/05, she waited...and waited...and waited for her magazines. After 16 weeks, I contacted allzines.com's website. I found the order on their website, , but I couldn't find it on the website of "Teen People". I contacted allzine.com's Customer Service department, and they sent me a canned reply that said that they'd "do everything in their power to resolve the problem", but nothing happened for a week. I've contacted them twice since then, but I haven't received the courtesy of a reply. I contacted the Customer Service department of "Teen People", and they advised me to contact the BBB and Attorney General. I plan to do this tomorrow, and dispute the charge with my Credit Card company.

As so many others are saying - this company is the absolute worst! I ordered a subscription in Oct. '05, and still haven't received anything as of Mar. '06. I've pursued every possible option they offer for customer service and had absolutely no response. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card company, since I think that's the only way to get any satisfaction. Allzines.com - they say they have a money-back satisfaction guarantee - 100% UNTRUE!

Pay a couple of dollars more for your subscription through a more reputable site - at least you'll receive something for your money!

Another review exactly like the ones below: no product ever delivered, no response when I complained via e-mail, no answer on their 800 phone line and their live chat queue with their customer service department never works. I even found an alternate number for this company... it was disconnected. Of course, when I called my credit card company to claim a fraudulent charge, they gave me a permanent refund immediately because the amount was too small to bother with an investigation. And that's how this company makes money... they take your $20 charge, deliver nothing and know that no one will ever come after them because it's such small potatoes. Well, kids, those potatoes add up.

Ironically, their website includes a BBB link where you can look them up... be sure to take note of the 90 registered complaints against them.

Biggest ripoff company on the net, you are lucky if you receive anything from them, there is NO customer support or answers from anyone at Allzines. Sent many requests for info and never got a single answer from anyone at allzines. Go ahead, try to get an answer from their web site. There phone does not work. RIPOFFS!!!! Report filed with the FTC.

Ordered 1 magazine from allzines.com in October 2005. Subscription never started. Entered 2 queries on www sites help interface in Jan 2006 - neither responded to. On-line chat doesn't work and no one answers 800 #.

If you do business with this site [not recommended] use a credit card because I think that you will eventually have to call the CC company [as I did] and get the charge reversed for non delivery.

I ordered a magazine August 12 '05 ,paid in full. It is Jan 15 and I have not received the magazine (5 months later) nor a refund. I have e-mailed them 3 times about the problem, have received only automated replies. Beware!

It may be an isolated case but I have had no luck with this business. Ordered 2 subscriptions in September and as of Jan 1, 2006 have not received any magazines. Complained to allzines.com on Dec 1 and after a month have not received any replies to my complaints. Cannot get them to answer phone and am wondering if they are still in business.

I checked out a bunch of sites for magazines -- i had to buy many for my office -- and AllZines had great prices and really the best user interface. I was even able to pay just 1/4 upfront to start my subscriptions, an option which I did not see anywhere else. This is good for us because I was ordering a few magazines I wasn't sure I would continue.
