Never Again - Buyer Beware

Very, very bad online shopping experience and extremely poor customer service. Due to a problem with their online shopping web site, I got a wrong size product. They charged a 20% restocking fee and had no exchanges policy. Wrong address was on the UPS label causing one week delay in shipping (order paperwork had my correct address). Had to call to get a RA number and they waited days to call back. No response to my e-mails. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

These people could care less about your order . . . I placed an order online. After being notified by email that my order was processed, I continually checked via their website for tracking information. After several days I called to find out why no progress had been made and I was informed that the order was held up by non-approval of my credit card company (I doubt that very seriously). Then I was given a big hassle about using another credit card. Other companies will politely notify a customer if there is a problem and ask if another card could be used. Not these retards. Stay on top of any order you place.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Allegro medical customer service are stupid - they do not know how to treat their customers; ignoring customers, putting you on hold then you will end up hanging the phone or being hanged up by them and they will not address your concerns.

Cannot recommend, unfulfilled order,

I found Allegro Medical had a pretty broad selection of supplies on their website. I found an item that I needed to order and placed that order, on June 29th. It is now July 20th, and I have called twice to find out where my order is, but both times was told that they would call me back when they found out what happened, but both times those calls were never made. I feel they are giving me the runaround, and cannot fulfill the order. I have been billed on my credit card already as well. When I called today, they told me that there was a heavy demand for the item I ordered (a wheelchair tray), and that someone should have contacted me that they were back-ordered. Also, surprise, a new shipment had just come in, and they would try and expedite my order. Calling me back to confirm. Well, again, no call back, and I am still waiting. I cannot recommend this business.

I ordered 2 golf gloves from them on 6/11/09. When I still had not received them by 6/27/09 and the website said "awaiting shipment" I tried to call them, but could not get through so I sent an e-mail. I did not receive a response to the e-mail until 7/28/09 at which point they stated they were not in stock and next eta was 8/10/09. I had since spoken to a representative who gave me a different date. On July 28 I asked them via e-mail to cancel my order. One month later they responded and said I would be credited. This is now 9/22/09 and I still have no credit. I spoke to a rep. today and asked to speak to a supervisor and he informed he had no way of transferring me to a supervisor that I would have to have a call back within 24 hrs.. I doubt I will ever hear from them. Do not order from this website. This company is in trouble. Stay away!

Ordered an item on August 3 and after several weeks waiting for shipment I called and was told the item was in back order but I was never informed. After several calls and e-mails yielding no positive results I cancelled the order August 31 and I am still waiting for my money be credited back to my credit card. I was told the process takes between 7-10 business days and still waiting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Allegro Medical is a scam. People, do not purchase from this company, their processes are a racket and it is a headache to deal with them. If you have had similar or worse experience with them, I recommend you to write to the BBB and anything that applies including IRS because this company evidently has fraudulent practices and should be out of the market.

before you buy from allegro, make sure you know what you're buying or check your local stores or other internet sites. allegro is more expensive that you thought because they have very deceptive advertisements thinking that you are getting what you buy. and if you decide to return the item, they will charge you for 20% - 30% restocking fee which is one way of getting more money from you. read their disclaimer and return policies before buying from them.

I searched the internet for enema buckets, accidentally came upon their page for an enema bag, but it's got a PICTURE of a bucket and had the best price, so I ordered it... I did notice on the order confirmation it said "enema bag" but I figured that was just a mistake so I didn't argue about it at the time. Well of course here come enema bags, not buckets. They invite me to mail the bags back, but I have to pay shipping both ways, because they told me it's MY mistake and there's not a hint of apology for their deceptive photo on the item description. It isn't like they didn't know about it until now, because someone else already left a negative review at the bottom of the page! That person also wanted a bucket, like it shows in the photo. They haven't removed the misleading picture and apparently have no intention of removing it. They did not have the best price on enema *buckets*, I would have ordered from someone else if I hadn't been misled.

I've had the same bad experience others report -- Allegro Medical charged my credit card even though the item I ordered was not in stock. Now I'm having difficulty getting them to credit my card, so I've put the charge in dispute with my credit card issuer.

DO NOT order from Allegro. The "in stock" items soon became backordered. The backorder promise date was revised THREE times. A month-and-a-half after placing my order, the tracking system said it was delivered. When I called about it, the "customer service" rep said it was a data error, the items were still not in stock, they couldn't tell me when the manufacturer would ship to them, and wouldn't let me speak to anyone else. I called the manufacturer myself, and they advised that they were not shipping to Allegro. They couldn't disclose the reason, but suggested I cancel the order and referred me to ExpressRamps.com. Express has the items in stock at a comparable, free shipping (Allegro charged $112), and will arrive within 3-5 days. I was charged for the order on the date of purchase, but when I cancelled the order, they said "it could take a while" to credit my account. I have the impression the company is in financial trouble and therefore not able to have stock to ship.

I ordered a foam mattress. After not having received the item after several days, I checked the tracking information on the company website which indicated item was "awaiting shipment". On the first call I was told item could be located and shipped in a day. After a few days, the status on the tracking had not changed from "awaiting shipment". I called again (on Oct 9)and was told item was on backorder with no date of shipment. I chose to cancel and was advised credit would be issued. After 2 more phone calls and an email, I am still waiting for my credit. Bottom line: You have to be proactive to get any information about your order and extracting a credit from this company. They charge your card the minute you order and judging from the other reviews, only issue credits to the squeaky wheels. I do not blame the reps in the call center, clearly the problems lie with the core business practices of this company. I will never order from this company again

Placed Order for in stock item on October 11, 2009. Credit card immediately charged. Order status has been awaiting shipment for last 13 days. Numerous inquiries on web site and by email to customer service have resulted in not a single response. Mia Culpa. I didn't do due diligence by checking sites like this prior to ordering. I will never do that again and I will never do business with this company again. I strongly suggest you don't do business with them either based on my experience. Turning dispute over to credit card company.

Charged me for backordered items. Still no refund after cancellation

Charged my card for a backordered item. Sent me an email claiming I would receive shipping information; I was never informed the items weren't available. I had to call when I didn't get anything. I called several times, each time being given a new ship date. I finally cancelled the order. Two weeks later now and I've never received a refund. CSR people always act so concerned and claim they'll fix everything right away. I ask for followup emails and never got them.

My product was delayed with no notice to me. After several weeks, I called to get the status and was told it was on backorder. I requested my order be cancelled. The service representative was very polite and said she would cancel the order. She then called me back to tell me that in fact the product had already been shipped but no tracking information had been entered. I believe I should have been notified if the product was on backorder and for $8.95 shipping I believe I shouldn't have had to wait more than 2 weeks to receive the product.

I HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH ALLEGRO SERVICE UP UNTIL THIS PURCHASE. THIS WAS A LARGE PURCHASE OF $278 WHICH WAS TAKEN FROM MY CHECKING/DEBIT ACCT IMMEDIATELY AND NO PRODUCT SENT, NO EMAIL REGARDING DELAY AND AFTER I CALLED ALLEGRO I REC'D A PROMISED FOLLOW-UP PHONE CALL EXPLAINING DELAY WHICH NEVER CAME. I PLACED A SECOND PHONE CALL TO FIND OUT WHERE MERCHANDISE ORDER WAS AND WAS THEN TOLD IT WAS BACK ORDERED AND WOULD BE SHIPPED IN SEVERAL DAYS. IF DELAY IS MUCH LONGER, I WILL REQUEST REFUND AND PURCHASE MY ITEM FROM ANOTHER MEDICAL SUPPLIER. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THIS IS AN URGENT NEED FOR AN ELDERLY RELATIVE.
