JUST AWFUL......horrible customer service

When you are not allowed to speak with a manager/supervisor and are told you can only e-mail and EVEN THEN get no response from anyone in the company SETS OFF THE ALARM BELLS. Just AWFUL customer service. Not being allowed to speak with anyone in authority tells you that something fishy is going on with this company. BE FOREWARNED......should you have ANY problem, you WILL NOT GET ANY RELIEF FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY.

unethical vendor did not deliver but charged for item not in stock

This is an unethical supplier. The comany confirmed a shipping date and charged my card for an item that they did not have in stock. Eight days later, I received an email stating the item was backordered. They lied about the shipping date, held my money for eight days without telling me the truth, and then said it would be another 3 weeks until the product might be available. Sounds like a scam to me! I needed a rolling walker for my mother who is having difficulty getting around her apartment. I was thrilled to find a supplier that was reasonably close and could ship so quickly. I didn't know they would actually lie about shipping a product they didn't even have. If you reallly need something for a loved one, DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Very Poor communication!

I ordered a product that was supposedly in stock according to the website. After 15 days and no communication, I sent an email to check on the status of my order (surely an online store with this kind of volume should have a way to check on an order status online). The email wasn't answered. I tried the online customer support, but there were no operators available. So finally, I called. I was told that the item is backordered, which was news to me, and wouldn't be shipped for another 2 weeks. But, they had already charged my credit card even though they didn't have the product. Very very poor service.

I tried purchasing a bike. The on-line site showed a next-day shipping date. A week later, I was told that there was a two-week lead time before shipping. Two weeks later I was told that "this item is on a backorder now until mid December." I don't even what to think about how long it will take just to cancel this order. Don't recommend shopping here.

Shady, watch out!

Good prices but shady on the shipping. It was supposed to have shipped within 24 hours but I'm still waiting for it to even leave and it's been three days. Their customer service said that's normal and that their website only says that the order is ready. Basically, they're misrepresenting; oh well. You get what you pay for with this place.

Poor service and out of stock of many items

I have had very poor luck with this company and would suggest you look elsewhere for your medical supplies. I have ordered products a few times and have been dissapointed each time. Very slow to process orders and many out of stock items - even though at the time of ordering, they were in stock. Their return policy is poor - costing you more than it is worth to return the product.

Placed order on March 23, 2006, order #M5860606. After several days and no product received, I called again and talked with CSR on Monday, April 3, 2006. She said that there apparently was a problem with the original order and she would ship it again and I should have it by Wednesday, April 5, 2006. No product received on Wednesday so I called again on Thursday and the CSR that answered said the order had been shipped but she could not give me a tracking number.
I called again on Friday, April 7, 2006, and talked with CSR "Brenda", who put me on hold for about 8-9 minutes and came back to me and said that she couldn't find the tracking information either and that she would reorder the product and I would have it on Monday, April 10. I told her to just cancel the order and I would try to find it here in Nashville.
After calling around, I found the same product(Juven) at Costco pharmacy for $18.00 less than Allegro charged me.
I have used Allegro twice in the past before this fiasco with excellent results.

I placed my order on Nov 07 2009 and it has been 12 days and the status still says awaiting shipment. Wish i had checked the reviews for this company before hand as it seems that I too am in for a long process of trying to either get my money back or receive my order. I too will never do business with this company again.

Ordered online. Credit card was charged also received an email stating product had shipped. A week later had not arrived and multiple emails to customer service went unanswered. Called and spoke to CSR and he informed me product was on back order and would ship 4 days later. 10 days AFTER that, I called customer service again and product was still on back order. I finally received it, but it took over a month, unanswered emails and incorrect info from their service reps. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Allegro Medical offers products on their website you cannot actually buy from them, at least not at the price shown and not anytime soon. When you call them, assuming you talk to someone who actually understands anything, they will try to talk you into some other product that is more expensive than the one you saw on their website. Classic bait and switch, which is illegal in most states. Very poor business practice. Beware.

Nightmare - DO NOT buy from them!

Bad and dishonest. DO NOT order from them. My order became backordered - I was never informed until I called follow up the shipment. Cancelled my order and took forever to process refund. Called 4 times each week for 4 weeks to follow up on the refund, being told "Your refund is in process, it should take 3-5 business days". Requested to speak to supervisor but she is never available. Requested to have supervisor call me back, never called me back. Customer service is not helpful, don't know what is the "real" status of my refund or refuse to tell me the truth? I finally received my refund after a month of battle with them. This is the WORSE online shopping experience.

I ordered through amazon a keyboard tray which costs about $28 but the only thing that arrived to me was the wrist rest without the keyboard tray. From amazon website and allegro website, it states that "kit includes Retractable Keyboard, Sliding Mouse Pad, and Soft Wrist Rest."

THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WITH THIS SECOND ORDER FROM YOU IS THAT THERE WAS NO INVOICE IN THE PACKAGE SHOWING THAT I BOUGHT 800 TEST STRIPS AT $53 PER 100. I CANNOT GET PARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT FROM MY INSURANCE CO WITHOUT THE COST SHOWN--THE PACKING SLIP DID NOT SHOW THE PRICE. They sent the wrong item. They sent the COMPLETE Cryo-Cuff ice bucket with the knee attachment. Then, when I called the number on the form that came with the merchandise, I was told that they were just the manufacturer and I would have to make another call to Allegro. But my kitchen is all torn up and my files are under plastic. It was just too much trouble to find the number and go through the process, especially with my surgery 3 days away. So I kept the whole Cryo-Cuff, spending twice what I'd intended, and I feel as if I'd been "had."

Not only was the site easy to navigate, the product I ordered was at a substantial savings over purchasing at a drug store or WalMart and I received free shipping which made it all the more economical. I've used the site in the past when caring for a dying friend and now for personal needs and will continue to use Allegro.com.

This is the only place that I could find to get my test strips with out all the hassel of the other unneeded paper work. All I wanted was the test strip and that was all that I got. I will so all my buisness with them.

I had only one major problem. When I was selecting an item, I clicked check out, but then I wanted to order another item and was not able to get back to the selection so I had to place a second order. This caused another shipping charge which I feel was unnecessary. Both items were going to the same place.
