Simply the best!

Shopping at Aromaleigh is a true joy, in every imaginable way. From amazing customer service, quick shipping and beautiful packaging to the beautiful quality of the products, every single thing is top notch.
A generous sampling program allows you to try nearly every single formula and shade before committing to a full size. This is very freeing, since you can experiment with colors and textures you generally don't gravitate toward.
And the customer forum is astounding - never have I had such wonderful, generous suggestions, friendly compliments and genuine support online. The forum is definitely worth checking out.
Overall, Aromaleigh is the benchmark by which I judge ALL other online vendors, large and small. Gotta say, some measure up, others don't (Nordstrom, for example, is on my "don't bother shopping" list, since their online service is in no way equivalent to their in store service).

Bad service, Product made my face break out

I ordered both pure powder and pure cover. As apparently I needed both (there isn't enough coverage with pure powder, and you aren't supposed to use pure cover alone...so you are stuck buying 2 products, and mixing yourself.
There were several mix-ups with my order, and they did not seem very flexible when it came to correcting them. Although I will say that the response to my emails was always prompt.
When I finally did receive my order the product was very dry and cakey looking. I struggled on trying to find the perfect technique and the perfect blend. When my face started breaking out I gave up, and dumped the whole lot in the trash.
If you want to spend waaaay to much, on something that doesn't look that great aromaleigh is for you.

Absolutely the best online shopping experience you could want. I shop online alot, and Aromaleigh is one of the best online experiences you can get. Fast shipping, top notch quality products, and great support!
This company has BEAUTIFUL formulas and colors - I'm going broke from all the orders I place! Out of the *nine* orders I've placed so far (I really need to be stopped, but I don't wanna be!), there hasn't been one that has been incorrect, or late, or that I haven't loved.
The staff is fantastic, the products are high quality for low cost. I've never even seen color selections like this from the heavy-hitters like Bare Escentuals, Estee Lauder or MAC. And since I started using this stuff? I can't remember the last time I set foot into a Sephora or gone to a makeup counter - there's no need to, this little indy company has everything you could want. I'm totally satisfied!
The last question that Epinions asks in these reviews is if we'd recommend this product to a friend, and to that I can honestly answer - you bet I would, and I already have. To several friends. Everyone should know about this great company!

Simply put, they create the best mineral makeup eye shadows that come in an exciting array of long-wearing, vibrant colors. My favorite are the special eye color collections. These are coveted, stunningly harmonious shades that are offered for a limited time. The colors you see in the jars are what you get--there isn't any color fading!! Their synthetic makeup brushes are first class and overall, every order is shipped fast and with a personal touch. For any mineral makeup lover, you need to try their stuff!

PRODUCTS GOOD,CUSTOMER SERVICE BAD

Aromaleigh has very good products. I do however think that the customer service is flat out bad.When I have a issue that I need to contact either of the two girls (Oliva or Amy) I always feel like all I got was attitude. I felt like I was bothering them if I questioned the first response. Almost like being yelled at. I do think Kristen is very talented and like I said I really like her products, but last time I received something that I thought was incorrect I didn't even bother to email customer service, just didn't want to be bothered with the attitudes. Honestly I think if Kristen looked over some of the emails from her staff to customers, she wouldn't be pleased. And thats really too bad for her, because thier attitudes make her look bad and over-shadow her talent.

The best I've ever tried.

Aromaleigh's products are the best I've ever tried. Not only was I able to find a perfect match for my skin tone (which is very difficult since I'm fair but yellow), but the products feel super light and don't make me break out. They don't cause me to look heavily made-up - just like I have porcelain skin. The blushes are shimmery and pretty and the Pure Hue shadows are amazing. Great products - and a fraction of the cost of Bare Minerals. I could never go back to liquid drugstore foundation after using these products for a year.
The staff is friendly and even put handwritten thank yous on the invoice when the order is shipped. The turnaround time is a little slow, but that's only because each order is blended at the time of ordering. They'll also send you free samples of eye color and lip color just for ordering.
I recommend that everyone wear mineral makeup instead of liquids - natural sunblock, non-comedegenic and a perfect look.

I've used Bare Minerals and other types of "mineral" make up and really have loved the way they work on my skin. I stumbled upon Aromaleigh cosmetics and decided to take a chance. I mean - why not - the prices are great and they seemed very customer oriented. So I just got my order last week and WOW! I will never go back to any other mineral makeup! This really is the best coverage and wonderful colors! The shipment was so fast and the free samples they included; even though they looked very sparse, went a very long way in color and coverage and sealed my decision to be back for more.

I've enjoyed Aromaleigh's products for the past eight years; they're the only make-up brand I wear regularly and the only one I recommend to people. I've used their products with pleasure; though I'm not fond of their wild eye shadow ranges, I appreciate their existence and have made them frequent gifts for friends who enjoy color play.
However, I have faced repeated troubles with Aromaleigh's customer service, often for minor things. Aromaleigh has on many occasions misunderstood what I have written to them in plain, concise English (even after stating things twice, in a different manner, in order to ease comprehension) because they have expected an angry customer reply.
The small team beyond Aromaleigh obviously put a lot of heart and time into their products, and for that they should be commended. However, they should not immediately assume that any response to them is automatically done in anger.

Good product, but not worth the attitude

I ordered Aromaleigh exclusively for about two years now. I love their product. However, they will never, ever receive another order from me. Their customer service is poor. They always seem put out by emails and while they respond fast enough, it's never very friendly. I also don't like the way the owner feels she is attacked by honest reviews. It's ridiculous and very off putting. She can't take any criticism and always gets defensive when the truth is being put in a review. It's like she's trying to gag her costumers who have had a bad experience. Everyone has a right to their opinions. Any attempt to silence these opinions is absolutely wrong. I'm sorry she feels like people are slandering her and spreading lies. But honestly, they're spreading the truth and she just doesn't like it. She lost my business and a lot of others I know of. Unfortunately, she doesn't see that there is a problem with her behavior, nor does she care that she's losing a few customers. Therefore, I don't think she needs my business and I will be taking it elsewhere.
