I ordered a headboard with free shipping (no choice with shipping) The order came from freight truck which the company did not advise I was the one that had to unload it out of the truck until I had completed my order. The boxes were damaged beyond belief.. there was no packing material with the headboard, it looked like someone had returned it without the packing material and the warehouse sent the bed to me. I of course refused the bed. Now the company claims they will send me a new one and that at this point I can not back out of the deal without big penalties. I feel I am trapped. It has been almost a week and no one has given me a time frame for a new delivery. I am not happy and very upset that I trusted them with that large of amount of money.

Haven't opened furniture yet, but expect satisfaction.
I received furniture in about a week from purchase and had been trying to get a daybed from a local furniture store since August. Had to pick up bed at trucking company because all they had to deliver in was an 18 wheeler that could'nt turn around on my street. They were very nice to deal with however. But that could be a problem for some.

Navigating the site and selecting the merchandise were easy enough to accomplish. In fact, locating the product at this particular price is what drew me to make the purchase at Bedroom Furniture Direct. I was mildly disappointed, though, in how long it took before shipment and then in how long it took the shipment to arrive at my doorstep.

Furniture looks reasonably nice and is reasonably stable but upon close inspection it does not fit together well, ie drawers don't run smoothly on the runners and stick, also one of the drawers was too big to close, so we improvised a fix so that the drawer didn't hang open all the time. I understand that we bought inexpensive furniture, and was expecting the materials to be of inexpensive quality but I see this as design flaws which should have been avoided. Also incorrect hardware was sent with the cubby and we are waiting to be sent the correct hardware.

The delivery is terrible; after taking an entire day at home waiting for the freight truck which never showed, I was told the truck broke down and no one bothered to call me to let me know. They then implied it was somehow MY fault for not calling every five minutes and checking on the truck's progress. When the headboard did arrive, it was so badly damaged from careless handling that I have to return it. They are sending another one, no plan on how to pick up the one they damaged. I'm thinking the dumpster is a good idea. Would NEVER use this company again.

Could not log onto the part of this merchant's website that contained my account information. Called them about it and the service rep. there were problems and to try again in a few hours. I was NEVER able to acces my account information! However, the item I purchased arrived within the time frame given and was in good condition. So overall I am satisfied.

The bedroom dresser is what we wanted but it was not the color as portrayed on the website. We were dissapointed that it did not reflect the lighter color that we wanted. Rather than go through the hassle of returning it, we will probably change the color ourselves eventually.

Product assembled fairly easy and is what I expected. The only thing about the experience that I would improve is the customer service agents knoweledge of the products. When I called to get an opinion on the product, the agent did not seem to know about the quality of the product. I realize this is probably a result of the agents being in a central call center, but letting the agents get a look at the products in person might help that issue. Thanks.
