Not good - I wouldn't order anything there again

I ordered a chair from Bizchair and would like to warn you: 1)The package arrived not completely closed and it wasn't the fault of the carrier since the inside box that held some hardware seemed like the chair was opened before and poorly assembled back. 2)The chair (which was one of the expensive models) was not comfortable at all. 4 different people tried it and all said that the back didn't support the back of the person sitting in. It was probably a poor imitation of another chair that looked good only in their picture. I tried to add different pillows to the back and the neck support but it seemed ridicules and didn't help.
3)To return you have to pay shipping fee both ways (even if shipping to your address was free) and restocking fee.- nice!

The most frustrating experience in my life!

I am in the middle of sorting out a nightmare of an experience with BizChair. I had ordered a $1,000 dollar plus desk from them, and it was not as expected when it arrive (my error). I returned the desk via Fed Ex to them (with an RA number), so I could purchase a $1,600 dollar desk. The day the desk arrived (Fed Ex confirmation), I contacted them and I was informed it would take a few days for them to issue my credit. A few days later, I called again and was told the same thing. This went on an on for about 2 weeks until I was told that they were moving warehouses and would get back to me soon. At 3.5 weeks I was told that the desk was not shipped back in the original boxes (untrue), and that it was damaged and I would not recieve any credit. The rub is at that point, the shipping policy with Fed Ex has lapsed!
Now they won't credit me, supply me with any pictures of the damaged desk, or ship it back to me (I offered to pay).
I am just flabbergasted!

Not Good - Price Switching

Customer service DOES NOT EXIST with Bizchair. The price printed on the web page did not match the price I was charged. I tried to contact customer service to correct the problem. Two days later they contacted me to tell me they corrected the price on their web page but I was not going to be refunded the difference. I told them I would change the order then to a chair that was less expensive. The woman told me she would change my order before shipment. This would have been acceptable to me. I did receive the more expensive chair and never received a credit, a call back, and never even received a confirmation of shipment with tracking number. Rather than try to send the chairs back I informed all members of purchasing that we would no longer use this vendor.

This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I ordered tables from them and all tables arrived poorly packaged in a single layer of cardboard loosely placed in the box. As a result, they were all damaged in shipping. The company has done nothing but give me the run around for the past month. Each time I call, the person who was "handling" my claim quits, they give me the name of a person to contact who doesn't exist, or they say they will call right back and never call again. As a result of over 10 contacts with them, I am no further ahead than I was on the first call. They do not have customer service - only promises they don't intend to keep. Please learn from my lesson and NEVER order from them!

Item is as described and arrived in good condition well packed. I had a small problem the recliner handle to open and close chair came damaged. I send an email I didn't get a response after 5 days later saying the person who handle my situation was out to lunch two weeks and no phone calls poor customer service. I won't use them again.

Bad Customer Service, Inflexibility, Frustration

Don't shop at BizChair! My order was a month late. When it arrived, one of the heavy bookshelves I ordered was poorly made and I asked for 1) repair or 2) a small discount of $100 (the order was nearly $2000!) to get the repair done in my own home town. The customer service rep said that they would pick up the item, but because I have a porch and stairs, they said that their shipper would not come up to get the item, that I needed to take it down the stairs myself, costing me time from work and money to pay someone to help me take the large shelf down. When I refused to do that, they told me they were finished with my case. When something is your fault, you should own up to it and take responsibility. I wasn't asking for much and they refused even that. I will never, ever do business with this company again.

Good ONLY if you get your product undamaged

Item came as described BUT:
1. The order was shipped directly from the manufacturer (Office Star)- no packing slip included but that's the least of the problems (see Paragraph 3)
2. The order took FOREVER (over 3 weeks) to get here
3. Was poorly packed and a part of the chair (an arm) was damaged BUT in most cases that's not a problem- s##t happens. After calling BizChair and BEING ON HOLD FOR 40 MINUTES I was told that I have to go directly through the manufacturer--- as opposed to saying that since I'd ordered through them they'd take care of it.
Apparently Office Star has similar customer service to BizChair- the replacement order took FOREVER to be shipped and they even managed to eff it up (sent the wrong part).
Unfortunately both companies are not registered with the BBB and there is nothing else you can do but write a nasty review on EPinions.
What can I say- a cheap person pays twice.

Terrible Experience

Awful company to deal with--after placing my on-line order I received a call stating they would have to charge me substantially more than their price on-line stated!!! I promptly canceled the order before they mailed the merchandise. However, they still charged my credit card and would not reverse the charge!!! I had to go through the credit card company to have the charge reversed.

I had absolutely no problems with bizchair.com. They had the lowest price online for the item I wanted, the Spartak Fold Down Desk, by almost $100.00 less than anywhere else I found. The shipping was free and quick, the item was in perfect condition. The fact that it was not easy to put together was not unexpected, and certainly had nothing to do with bizchair. All in all, it was a very good experience.

After some deliberation, considering all the bad reviews here about bizchair, we bought 8 brown Shen Leather Chairs for our dining room table. Although we bought them at bizchair, the order was processed by Euro Style Inc, shipped by Conway Freight, and took 8 days to get to our home. All-in-all, the chairs are exactly what we wanted, got to us in a timely manner, and were a really good price.
Although I had a good experience, I can only give a good (not great) rating about their communications. I got one email, confirming my order was made, but no emails about when it was shipped. I can only assume that their communications with the processing vendor and shipping company are not very automated. Similarly, when I called to find out the status of my shipping, my call was answered quickly and the service rep was friendly and tried to be helpful, but was not able to quickly check on my shipping status. All of this being said, my order got to me more quickly than I expected, and the shipping company was very easy to work with.

Bizchair.com is a disgrace; never again!

Customer service is a joke. When my chair self-destructed after 2 weeks of use, I got a run-around. First, no one ever answered my email asking for help. Then I tried phoning and was passed around from one person to another.
The bottom line is they did nothing for me. Their advice was for me to contact the manufacturer and try to have them make good.
I wouldn't order from Bizchair.com again no matter what price I was getting. It was an extremely upsetting experience.

Item received was not as dispicted on the website. Called and asked for an exchange. They were uncooperative, uncaring, robotlike. No exchange policy, I was told. They told me I would have to return it and since it wasn't defective, I would have to pay delivery and return postage plus a restocking fee of 25%. To return the item is more than half of the total price. One would think in these difficult economic times, a business would care to keep customers instead of rip them off. STEER CLEAR of this company. They WILL NOT take care of the customer.

Product will get delayed! DON'T ORDER HERE!

I placed an order on January 23 and recieved an email on February 19 letting me know that the order can ship on Monday 2/23. I asked why it took so long and why no one notified me 3 times and I got:
"At the time the order was placed, we initially thought that the order would ship based on the lead time. Susan informed you of the information as stated on the site, which would have put your order shipping on 2-6. Processing took longer than expected and your order was not shipped as stated. Delays do happen and we do apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know how you like to proceed with this. Thank you. "
The rep she says she found out about the delay today and no one notified me with no effort to work with the customer. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I found the information about the product helpful. The item was on sale which was very important to my purchase at BizChair. I liked the quality of the item purchased and that was the primary reason for my purchase of the BizChair version of this item. I tried to track delivery, but couldn't tell what the estimated delivery date was, even after the unit was in NJ, waiting for delivery. I was hoping the table would be delivered while I was visiting in NY so I could see my grandson receive it, but it took several days longer. Still I was very pleased that the product came in good shape, is good quality and was on sale. I'll see it on my next visit!

This was my first purchase from this site and it was a good experience (for the most part). I found exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price, it was shipped on time and in good condition. The product was of good quality except for one minor detail. The magents on the unit aren't strong enough to hold the door closed properly; so the doors open if the handle is even touched (which is difficult because I have two toddlers).If that could be fixed it would be a perfect purchase. Overall, I would shop here again.
