I was looking for this particular camera so I got online and saw a good review with CNET so I decided to check it out. I did go shopping for this camera beforehand and the price was less at this site then in the stores, plus I got a case for less than it would have cost me elsewhere for just the camera. I did get an email from Ken who asked if I was interested in purchasing additional batteries and when I did he sent the items 2nd day air. However, I did pay additional to receive it quicker than normal. I will keep this site as a favorite to see if they sell photo paper, quick charger, etc. I am very pleased. Thank you.

I ordered Monday night. Received call from Monarch on Tuesday morning to verify order and try to sell me an upgrade on the memory. I had ordered a standard 128mb memory upgrade and they suggested I go with the FAST 128mb memory upgrade for $30 more. Initially, I was put off by the sales call and refused the upgrade. They then offered it for $20 more instead of $30. I was unsure as to whether or not the FAST memory would be worth the extra money, but I accepted the upgrade at this price. After doing some investigation on FAST memory vs. standard memory and it's pricing, I'm glad I did. I took the standard ground shipping, but received the camera after only 2 days. I have been very happy with the camera as well as the memory upgrade. I would definitely shop at Monarch again. Just make sure you do your homework so you know what options may be added and at what cost in preparation for the sales call.

The coustomer service was excellent. Within an hour of placing my oder then called me back to confirm it. While on the phone they suggested several upgrade options, one of which I took. Shipping was fast, almost too fast, the man I spoke to on the phone said 7 to 10 days; the package showed up in 2. Lucky for me the box was plain and my wife had no idea what I bought her.
One of the products I recieved, a compact flash memory module, did not work. I called the company back (On Sunday even!) and afer some minor troubleshooting to make sure I wasn't doing it wrong they gave me a return athorization. I shipped it back to them and now I'm waiting for a replacement.
Over all this is an excellent company with great prices. The camera I ordered was almost $200 cheaper than anywhere else. I plan on using butterfly photo for all of my future digital camera needs.

I got the product I wanted at a good price. It was also delivered quickly but only after having to make a couple of calls between my credit card company and this merchant for approval which I have not had to do with any other online purchases before. Considering that the calls I had to make were for my own protection I would say that my overall experience was pretty good.
