Due to problems Butterfly is experiencing with credit card fraud, I received two emails and one telephone call. These messages left no information - just to contact them - this concerned me. I was concerned that the camera was not in stock or that my credit card had a problem. Not until I got a hold of a person was I able to get information on why where were contacting me.

Good selection of products with comprehensive descriptions of features and package contents. Site navigation could be better and pages were slow to load. Strangely, each product photo was only displayed for a moment or two before a large red rectangle appeared over it. There was no explanation for this "censoriing" of the product photo, and no way to get rid of it. This was both odd and annoying. This automatically updating shipping rate chart attached to the shopping cart was a nice touch. Received email from customer service requiring me to call them re my order, but it turned out they just wanted to let me know when the item would ship and find out if I had any questions re thee product. They could have put that in an email, so that felt like a waste of my time. Otherwise, this was a good shopping experience and I would shop this merchant again.

I was sold on buying a new battery from this company. However, since the salesman picked the battery for me...I never picked the battery myself. In fact, Butterfly Photo sent me the WRONG battery and expect me to pay for any return shipping and stocking fees. A mistake on the companies part and the customer is expected to take up the stack. Completely unacceptable. I will tell all my friends to avoid this company for its poor service and attention to customers needs. When trying to return this battery, it was almost more hassle than what it was worth. Long wait times on phone and unsympathic service people. Overall, great product. Good price. Terrible company policy. Get it straight before screwing over your customers.

I was impressed at their commitment to security - they take extra steps to ensure the purchase is made by and sent to an authorize user of the credit card, however they used misleading information to try to sell-up extras like an extra battery and memory card, but not overly aggressively.

I was unable to recieve any products from Butterfly.com, because they would not accept an international credit card (Canadian) for payment even though I had a US address for shipping purposes. I ended up making my purchase at another e-tailer which did not have any restrictions with respect to placing payment on a Canadian credit card.

Except for the spare battery, everything I ordered was exactly as expected and I am totally pleased. The spare battery was a knock-off brand, but I forgot to question that at order time. I highly recommend Butterfly photo for their prices, honesty and swift service.

Very good and reliable service. I received a call to confirm that the order shipped during which they tried to sell me a carrying case for the camera. After I rejected they did not try to push me and immefiately shipped the order. I am very satisfied with the service.

I am very pleased with my experience with Butterfly.com. The camera came on time and I was e-mailed a tracking number so I can track my shipment. The camera was packaged nicely and everything was great.
