This has been the worst on-line shopping experience I have ever had. I ordered an expensive cancorder online. The next day I get an email saying I must contact someone about the order. That call resulted in a "Hard Sell" to get me to buy VERY INFLATED extras. When I refused, I was told it would take 10 to 14 days to get. A week later, I called customer service. At first the lady I spoke to tried to give me the brush off, but when I insisted on knowing the status of the order she finally told me it would be shipped that day. It is now 3 days later and I still have no indication of shipment.

Prices were the best around. I was required to speak to a rep in order for the purchase to go through, this was so they could try and sell me accessories. But considering the digital camera I purchased was the lowest price ANYWHERE with free shipping, I am extremely satisfied and would definately shop at ButterflyPhoto.com again!

Easy transaction, camcorder was in stock and I wanted 2 day shipping which was no problem. Camera arrived exactly on time. I would definitely recommend Butterfly Photo for your camcorder needs. Customer Service person was very polite and not pushy regarding purchasing other items for the camcorder.

I brought a Sony Camcorder. Sony had a promotion on this model. But I cannot avail the promotion as this seller is not authorised dealer for Sony products. The seller informed this prior to the purchase. Hence the seller is truthful to the buyer.
Customer Service: Some customer service agents are good with the customers. Some answered all my questions with the purchase. To enquire about the conditions of purchase, I had to call them thrice and one call was not answered properly.
This seller is a genunie internet seller and sells this camcorder $200 less than the market value. Unlike other internet sellers like expresscamera.com, he sells products that are meant for USA market.
I suggest you need to inspect the product throughly before using it to check if all the features are working fine.

the major items were received in a very timely and acceptable fashion as ordered. The difficulty is in the items not shipped. There was no notice of a back order or eta of the balance to be shipped. After THREE frustrating telephone calls averaging 12 minutes each with still no eta I cancelled the balance of the order. Electronically they are good but lousy customer attention and service with no empathy whatsoever for the problems they caused.

Butterfly's price for this item was the BEST I found on the internet (not gray market) and they included FREE shipping. They even called to confirm my order. I was expecting a big sales pitch at this point, but it was just a confirmation. The product arrived on time and was everything I expected!

Did this purchase at butterflyphoto because it was the first trusted merchant on the list, I read too many bad experiences with other cheap stores, the price at butterfly was decent, customer service was receptive and cooperative. shipping was trackable online via fedex, the only negative point I would find is butterfly's order tracking on their website is updated weirdly ... but it's updated !
in a word, I will order again with them.

Best price for Olympus C770. Excellent shipment tracking information. No pressure sales calls unlike other online stores. Butterfly also offered good bundled packages for the camera, which I decided to postpone. I would seriously consider Butterfly in future purchases. Thank you.
