Very easy process. They contacted me the same day to confirm the credit card information used for the web order and the process was completed. I appreciated them making sure the credit card purchase was authorized. I was amazed at the speed of delivery. Got exactly what I wanted faster than I expected.

Speedy delivery, very good prices, friendly but slightly pushy with follow up phone call, so far very reliable for the two digital cameras I have ordered (one a gift). Buy the accessories elsewhere though. Their memory cards are way more expensive than elsewhere (try double).

My experience with Butterfly Photo was like so many of the other reviews I have read from people who ordered and did not buy into the additional accessories. My order was not shipped the week I ordered so I called to cancel and received an extremely rude response. I then placed an order with another on-line retailer and the product was shipped this afternoon with a tracking number. My best guess is that the positive reviews of this company are either false or from people who bought into the more profitable accessories. Don't waste your time

READ THE REVIEWS PRIOR TO MAKING YOUR PURCHASE. I ordered my digital camera on a Sunday and was told that the product was in stock and would be shipped within 24 hours. Mon/Tue/Wed, product still had not been shipped. Now a manager informed me that the product was never in stock, as I was informed. The website even displayed in stock. I canceled my order, and am calling the credit card company immediately as I can not trust this company. I thought it was a good idea to save 10% and purchase on line, I was wrong.

CAUTION!!! My credit card was charged immediately after my order was placed. Since the product never shipped, who knows how long before they credit my account.

I was so happy with my experience that I am writing my 2nd review in a year! Received e-mail + call (did not have to call myself) from Patrick the day I placed the order online. Received very helpful information. The next day the shipment left the store and arrived 2 days later although I had paid for regular delivery only.

OVERALL, OK experience.
I ordered my camera with Butterfly advising them of the need (timewise) Before a vacation. My boyfriend ordered it on his card, BUT we were shipping to MY work. They (Butterfly) let this order sit a while before dealing with this- almost making my camera LATE! Once the issue was resolved, they DID act promptly.

I ordered the Panasonic FZ5 (excellent camera by the way)on Friday 12/9/05. Two days later I received an e-mail to call an 800 # and an extension to call. The sales person I talked to confirmed my order and credit card security #. He very politely asked if I needed an extra memory card or UV filter and I said that I didn't. There was no high pressure sales pitch. He then thanked me and the call was done in about 2 minutes. I received an e-mail the next day that my order was shipped and 3 days after that, it arrived.

I ordered a Sony KDS-R60XBR1 HDTV from Butterfly Photo and could not be happier. I ordered it via the web on a Saturday and had the order confirmed on Sunday afternoon. The set was shipped out on Wednesday and would have arrived on Friday, but snow prevented delivery. The private trucking company they use, SekoWorldwide, confirmed my delivery time on Monday. At 3:30pm that day, the driver delivered and brought the set to where the HDTV was to be connected. He stayed to help me unpack it, inspect it for damage and test it out to make sure it was perfect.

Even with shipping, which was almost $300, I saved more than $1000 on the set when comparing prices to BestBuy or CircuitCity

Poor on-the-phone customer service. I called for an order but the man on the phone was rude & condescending. Needless to say I hang up without placing the order.

Like most people, I view ordering via the Internet with somewhat of a jaundice eye, but my experience with Butterfly Photo was just awesome! I was able to easily compare the digital camera I purchased as a gift with others. Placing the ordering was extremely easy & the price was the best I found on the net or locally. I was able to track my order from the beginning & received it exactly when they told me it would be here. I also like the fact that they personally verified with me via telephone that I had in fact placed this order so that my credit card was protected. I would absolutely recommend Butterfly Photo to anyone looking for the merchandise they handle.
