After a lousy experience with another vendor who kept repeating the mantra "the product will ship today", I am VERY impressed with CTI. I called to make sure the item was in stock, and a very helpful Sue explained the shipping rates and when the item would ship for each choice. After I placed my order on the web she called to confirm it would ship immediately. And I received it already, earlier than expected!

Only issue is the tracking number was not updated on their system, and to me a tracking number goes a long way in reassuring me that my order is on its way. But overall, CTI appears to be fair, honest, and had a GREAT price on my product.

Got an Apple Mini iPod with next day delivery ok.

I ordered an Apple Mini iPod with overnight delivery. I had to have it the next day (for good reasons.) I kept calling them and they said, yes, they have the order, they have it in stock, it is being processed today and should go out by this evening. I followed up the next day and received a tracking number. The product was delivered that day. I was very happy.

Do not use these people, they customer service is rubbish, and they will lie to you.
They tell you items are in stock before you order. You order and ring to check everything is ok, they tell you yes and the item is in stock.
They charge you, tell you it’s shipped, and the 2 days later, the product is on back order all of a sudden.
Truly the worst experience I have had on line.
And for an authorized Apple dealer, I am sure if apple knew this is they way that they behave, then they would not be an authorized dealer for very much longer.

I purchased 2 iPods (green mini & 20GB). CTI had the best prices for new iPods on the web, and free shipping to boot! I received a follow up phone call to tell me my order would be shipped the next day, and I received plenty of e-mail updates keeping me informed of my order status.

Customer service was unhelpful at best: frequent hangups, not answers in the middle of the workday, not returning phonecalls. Website is poorly laid out and confusing.

Worst of all: website claimed my product would ship "the same day". It shipped 8 days later, after ~6 phonecalls and several emails.

It was my first time ordering with CTI. I placed an order for a digital camera. The site did not say that the item was in Back Order. However, I received an e-mail on the same day letting me know that the item was in fact in Back Order. It was very helpful to know right away, because it gave me time to buy it from Circuit city instead. I would definitely recommend the customer service. They processed my order very quickly.

Fast delivery; odd way of doing things

This was my first time ordering with CTI and I had a decent experience. The Web site has a lot of typos and it doesn't look like they are reputable, but since it was a Trusted Store I ordered from them ( normally I wouldn't give it a second thought to go to another store).

Aside from receiving way too many e-mails from CTI (a total of SIX), they got both orders out to me very fast. There were some things that made me wonder, however:

1. A bounce back from an e-mail sent from me to sales@cti-intl.com, which was automatically sent from CTI without my knowledge. "Unable to accept message because the server is out of disk space." Not a good e-mail to get from a company you just ordered from.

2. Pretty confusing format for the change in order status (took a while to figure out what had shipped). No need for an e-mail on EVERY change.

3. Duplicate e-mails for the Shipped notification.

All in all, I had a good experience. Just looks like the way they do things is very different from other online retailers.

Everything was excellent. A fast and easy to use website; next day telephone confirmation of my order; very prompt shipping and arrival. The only complaint is their requirement for a $100 minimum for any single order. When I returned to the site to buy an iPod carrying case and a service contract, the total came to $96.75 and the order was rejected. But, of course, it's their loss, not mine

Monday I waited for my delivery all day...when I called SAIA I was advised that there was not enough room for the trailer so my order was returned to their warehouse. SAIA had a trailer delivery to this same location last December with no difficulty. They then rescheduled a delivery for today between 8:00 AM and Noon...I waited until 12:15 PM and then had to leave. On their manifest, attached, they have my name and telephone number where they could have called my with any issues or problems...but they did not.

I have taken 12 hours off of work to be available for this delivery and I cannot continue to take time off and not accomplish anything.

I do not know what the issues are with SAIA but I would suggest that you reconsider your choice of delivery firms.

When I attempt to e-mail CTI at the address they provide I receive the following

Watch out for the Free Shipping - They delay it leaving

Watch out for the "Free" shipping using "ground". I ordered an in stock item on Monday, and here it is Thursday and the item has still not left the warehouse. I called customer service and they told me it has not shippped yet because I selected free ground delivery that takes longer. I expect that when I order an item it will be promptly shippped. Any delay using ground should be as a result of the carrier not the merchant I am purchasing from. The ship from NY I am in NJ - ground works for me. I should not endure a ship delay because I choose the free option!
I am a returning customer and I am very disappointed in the way this company conducts business in this transaction.
