Very-very disappointed. Most of the time I got the answer machine, my calls and e-mail never returned. Had to call repeatedly to get the UPS tracking number - still haven't received it yet. Website has been down - wondering if this is a scam... They've had the money but services still not rendered - if no response today, I'll have to call my credit card company and start contacting the reporting agencies. Even if this is resolved and we receive the item ordered, I will NOT use Caplink again because of the poor customer service, inability to get hold of anyone, no returned phone calls, etc.

I ordered a radar detector from Caplink and had no issues with my order. In fact, due to a popup blocker issue with my browser, I processed the order twice (so I had 2 orders). I immediately emailed them and they promptly deleted the 2nd erroneous order without any problems. My order arrived ontime and without any problems. I would definitely ordered from them again. After placing an order, I received an email stating my order had shipped. IT DID NOT. I PAID EXTRA for 2-day delivery. Now that it's a weekend and they didn't get it out on time, I have to wait an -additional- three more days for delivery.
Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They stated CapLink would not work with them to resolve the issue.
I have now filed a Complaint with the Rhode Island Attorney General.
My email and phone call have gone unanswered by this company.
Please think twice and read the reviews on this company before ordering from them.

My initial order shipped later than they said it would and I got my tracking information after I got the package, but the real problems started when it turned out to be defective and I had to exchange it. Returns aren't tied into the Web site - there's no receipt notification, no tie in to your original order, no tracking information, nothing.
They rarely respond to e-mail and forget about getting through to their voice support.
They do have "live help" on their Web site and the people there are pretty helpful. Unfortunately, they couldn't get at the shipping information, either.
I finally got a working version 18 days after my initial order.
Good experience, great prices. The only knocks: online order updates pretty much non-existent (had to use Live Chat to find out status, and that worked well); scanner shipped in retail box with no additional packaging (not sure yet if it damaged product; scanner is working but not certain if it impacted scan quality...need to do some testing). I was mislead into believing that the Casio Exilim had a MPEG mode. Since it doesn't, I wanted to return it, but I wouldn't get a full refund. Shouldn't it be that, if you are unhappy with a merchandise, then you should be able to return it and get ALL your money back? I can understand and would be happy to pay for the shipping, but "restocking fee"? O..customer service was also not available on the weekends, which was a bummer since that's the only time I have to make these calls about returns. Read more

The product was received after an initial phone call. Rep answered right away and said there was a delay because of the holiday. Came shortly after and nicely packed. The only recommendation is they should send an email confirming the order has been shipped with the tracking number.
