I do a lot of shopping online and have never been more disappointed with a merchant than I am with Chef's Corner. I placed an order there on 12/4 for an espresso machine and a coffee grinder. I have yet to receive either. They say the grinder has shipped- but I have not seen it. AND, they can't give me any details on the espresso machine which apparently ships from a 3rd party. I've spoken with them on the phone 3 times and still do not know the status of the machine. Since I placed this order, I have placed several with Amazon and their 3rd party vendors. ALL were received promptly. Bottom-line, they stink.

I purchased a peculator as an xmas present on 12Dec07 My Visa was charged the same day. The gift never showed i send numerous emails after the 25th with no response. I phoned their customer service on 02 Jan 08 and was told they didnt know what happened but they would try to find out and give me a new shipping date. I told them that wasnt acceptable and told them to cancel the order and refund the money to my Visa. About an hour later I got an email stating it took three days to cancel an order and if it had already been shipped or was being shipped i would be charged a 25% restocking fee. Emails to the customer service supervisor were not answered. i also sent emails to HOME DECOR PRODUCTS, INC NJ their parent company after xmas asking for help and still havent received an email from them. There are several companys that are owned by them and they all show up on the same search when you are looking for goods. If you really want to receive merchandise i suggest you dont do business with any of these companies.

The WORST company. I placed an order for two items totaling $270 on December 9 for holiday delivery. (My credit card was charged for these items.) According to the website, the items were in stock and would be shipped w/in 48 hours. My order was never shipped,despite receiving email updates notifying me that my items were on backorder but would be shipped soon. The items never shipped and I called the company on December 26th to cancel the order and request a credit. I will never buy anything from this company again. very unreliable, extremely poor customer service.

Don't Waste your time buying from this website!!! I wish I would have seen these reviews before I purchased something. I purchased an item back in Nov. of 07 and here we are almost in March of 08 and still haven't recieved it yet! Cancled order. Very poor comunication. DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME

Placed an order for a toaster oven on 3/31/07 and paid via Paypal. My charge card was charged on 3/31. The order confirmation stated delivery on or before 4/23/07. It never arrived on or before that date or at all for that matter. Sent an email on 4/23 requesting status, but no response. On 4/24 I contacted a live chat rep who promised to look into the delay and email me the status. Again, no response. Check the website tracking and it said shiping was delayed after 4/23, but no date as to when. No automatic emails keeping me informed of delayed shipping either. But they have had my money for over 3 weeks and I no product, so why should they bother when poor customer service works so well for them! I filed a complaint with Paypal and my personal charge card company!

I ordered crystalware on Dec 1st 2007, scheduled to ship before Christmas. On Dec 27th (after we called the company to check on order status) we received an email stating that the item will not ship until Dec 1st 2008. Our credit card was billed on Dec 1st. I will never use this website again and I strongly warn others not to use it.

Chefs Corner is a terrible place to order from, don't order anything from them, it is not worth saving a couple dollars for the trouble and frustration.

I placed my order on 9/30/07 for estimated shipping in 2-3 weeks (this should have been no later than 10/21 by my calendar). On 10/22/07 I received an email stating my item will now ship on or before 10/26. I call their customer service number to inquire and tell them they should upgrade the shipping because they didn't meet their promised date of shipment time. The customer service person says he will inquire with his manager about upgrading my shipping and get back to me. No one ever calls back and then I get a notice on 10/30 that my items have finally shipped but shipped via ground and I won't get them until approx. 11/7. This is 5 1/2 weeks from when I originally place my order, totally unacceptable.

I wish I had checked epinions website before I placed my order. They stink.

I have never experienced such poor service. I too waited 2 weeks to the promised delivery date, only to have it be delayed an extra 8 weeks. I quickly called to cancel the order...easy...done....NOT! They have to "confirm" the cancelled order. Ok takes 2-3 days....NOT! I call again...write again...call, write, call, ...... see a pattern? hmmm its almost as if they are stalling me..or maybe it's just a bunch of college telemarketers taking orders for some jacka** who has a big supply house and doesn't give a crap. Either way, THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY!! there are so many better and cheaper companies to buy from. Stay away from these clowns.

I had to cancel the order w/my CC company & refuse delivery

Terrible Company. They definitely dont care about customers. I ordered an expensive book for about $200 on Dec. 10th and the slogan said that they promise to delivery by Christmas day or before. I called almost everyday to find out the status. Nobody could give me an answer. Christmas passed, my husband was dissapointed because he did not get a Christmas gift and I am still waiting for somebody to contact me by Dec 27th. Poor Customer service and fake advertisement. DONT ORDER FROM HERE...amazon is more reliable!! I will go ahead and cancel my order now and I will order with amazon. I will not continue to wait.
