After ordering a Waring Blender, more than two weeks went by with no information regarding the status of shipment. They don't respond to phone calls or electronic mail concerning the status of one's order. Customer Service is rated as POOR. After I requested that they cancel my order, they quickly notified me that my order had been shipped that very day.

CookingToys.com worked so hard and so diligently to find and send out the item I wanted but was no longer available. Most companies do not really care about the needs of customers, but CookingToys.com most certainly does. When I purchase the rest of my set, I will be purchasing them from CookingToys.com.

ordered some custom tervis tumblers for my son who is graduating college. Cookingtoys was able to put his name and year of graduation on the one side and the school mascot on the other. The website is user friendly and ordering was easy. Got a prompt notice when my order was received. However, my order was delayed somewhat due to a shortage at the manufacuters and I was not notified of this. When I contacted CookingToys.com to check on the status of my order they informed me of the delay.

This is the place to go if you want to upgrade your Cajun Injector from plastic to stainless steel. It's a bit pricey, but you'll have it for a lifetime. I wish I had looked at the shipping program. After I placed the order, I saw that by spending just a bit more, I could have had free shipping.

I wanted the carving set for Thanksgiving and was promised that if I paid the extra money for 2 day service, that it would arrive in time. I received the package the day AFTER Thanksgiving. I called the company to let them know and to recieve a refund for the extra shipping charge, but was not able to reach anyone. I left a message and still have not received a response.

Very easy to order. Loved the site and the service....with one exception.... I did not think the Tervis Tumblers would come FROM Tervis with that on the OUTSIDE of the box......I figured it would say "COOKINGTOYS.COM" and that way, my HUSBAND would not guess WHAT was inside.....when he brought the delivery in to me, he KNEW it MUST have been Purdue Tervis Tumblers.......unfortunately, he was NOT surprised at Christmas time.......he said he KNEW it must have been Purdue mugs inside.........oh well, live and learn.....he still LOVES them, and so do I. After ordering the product we were not able to reach anyone from cookingtoys.com to track the order. About 3 weeks later the merchandise showed up. I did not get any responce to 4 emails I sent and 2 phone messages. Price of product was decent and free shipping was good, however I don't think we will be shopping with them again as customer service was very poor.

The coffee maker I requested was back-ordered at Cuisinart. Sherry Slaght with Cookingtoys.com informed me, offered other items that could be substituted, and kept me posted on the timeframe given to her from Cuisinart. She emailed me and left messages on my voice mail. I was truly impressed with the personal service I received from her. She even called me when my coffee maker left her loading dock with FedEx. I ordered Tervis Tumblers with Kansas State Wildcat logos but received some with incorrect logos. I called to report this and Shelly Slaght acknowledged the error was hers and would send the correct ones immediately. I paid the postage on the return of the wrong ones, and would like to be reimbursed for this expense, as the error was not mine. The correct order arrived in good shape in about a week. Could I expect the postage imbursement?

My shopping experience with Cooking Toys was very pleasant. The ease at which I could order online was fantastic. I most definately would use Cooking Toys.com again. I found the item I was looking for without any trouble even if I didn't know the manufacturer. There is another item I would love to find but, I don't believe it is available any more. Easy purchase, no problem picking out the tumbler design from the drop down list, but I never could display a picture of my selected tumbler. It would have made me more comfortable with the purchase if I could have seen it first. Several designs did have an available picture, and several did not, including ones I was considering. I would not buy another set without a picture.

I had checked the pricing on these knives several times and compared it to other dealers. The day I decided to order them the price had gone up. I called their 800 number and was told I had gotten stuck in the middle of a price change. They were very apologetic and sold me the set at the original sale price I had seen. I looked all over for this egg separater and this company had it at a reasonable price. It was implied that it was a special order so I expected a long wait. Submitted an order as a gift for some friends and had asked for a gift card to be enclosed. Not only did they enclose a gift card, but a very nice one at that. I thought they would just get a small piece of paper or packing slip with note like I have seen from other companies but they also included our full names and message on a full color paper - more than we had asked. I don't recall getting any information on expected delivery date. There was no package tracking. I would like that in the future. I was considering calling the company to find out when it would be delivered. I wasn't upset, I just wanted to know the estimated delivery date. We ordered a set of pans from cookingtoys.com and the online description said that the item was discontinued and was close to running out. They called us right after we ordered and told us the set we bought had run out. They offered us a better quality set in the latest line of pans(the one we really wanted but couldn't afford) at no extra cost even though they really didn't have to. We are very happy with how they handled it, without us having to call and find out a week later that they didn't have it anymore. Great customer service that is a surprise from websites anymore.

My issue with Cookingtoys.com was the difficulty I had contacting them regarding the status of my order. Two phone calls and two emails finally raised a brief response saying that my order had been shipped. When calling to check on the order I got a recording (normal business hours) and I was invited to leave voice mail which I did. I was prepared to wait if the item was back ordered or something like that, but there was no way to find out what the status of the order was, and that was frustrating.
