Avoid DeepDiscount.com BAD Service and Product Out of Stock when they claimed In Stock!

This company is horrible! Never use deepdiscount.com I placed an order for a 2009 Thomas Kinkade calendar on January 15, 2008 because they said they were IN STOCK and they had the lowest price. A week later on January 22 I get an e-mail saying that they are back ordered and really out of stock! I gave them ANOTHER week for finally calling today (January 29) to cancel the order so I can buy from somewhere else. I was on hold for about 20 minutes! They came on the line and cancelled the order for me. They were very nice, but the fact remains, that the service was poor because of the hold time. SO, in summary, they lie about the availability of the product and then they have horrible customer service because they leave you on hold indefinitely!! AVOID DEEPDISCOUNT.COM ... AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!

NEVER USE IF YOU WANT ITEM ON TIME

I ordered a DVD on 11/23. They said it was in stock and would ship in 1-2 days from the US. Complained on 12/16 when I hadn't received it. Complained 12/22 when I still hadn't received it. Now they are saying 12/29. Kind of late for a xmas present! Is all this worth the $12.29 I paid? Will never use them again and please don't either. Who cares how cheap when you never get it?

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! They are the worst website ever. The customer service reps are awful and so are the managers. I still haven't received my shipment from them which i ordered a month ago! Spend a few more dollars and go elsewhere!

Do not have in stock what they say they have. Horrible customer service. They said I could cancel a portion of order that was backordered, but then told me I couldn't as it was in "processing" for shipment. Just a bad experience all around.

I purchased 8 Backyardigans DVD's when they were buy one get one free. A sale like that caused them to be back-ordered but I was prepared for that and in no hurry as most were going to be Christmas gifts... got to strike while the deal is hot, right? Amazingly, 6 shipped 4 days after the order and the other 2 shipped 7 days after the order. Great work guys!

I will NEVER order anything from DeepDiscount again.
I ordered a video game for my daughter and received a shipping confirmation email on 11/24/07. I have not received the game and have sent them several emails and have not received any response.
Yesterday, on 12/21 I noticed that they refunded the entire amount to my credit card on 12/6 but did not bother to tell me the order had been cancelled. If they had just told me I would have time to order this game from somewhere else because you cannot buy this game in stores anymore.

I would NOT recommend ordering anything from this store. They claim to have a very good return policy. Not true! The item I wanted in exchange was never sent to me. And contacting the company was useless. Their response was they never received the returned item, even though it was sent back in their return envelope! How convenient!

I purhcased for the first time from DeepDiscount about 2 months ago and I was very pleased with the customer service. Previous reviews had me worried, but it was obvious to me that DeepDiscount knew what they were doing. The prices couldn't be beat and the shipping times were average. Considering the shipping is free i didn't expect the DVD to be here overnite. If that's the case I would have paid for their expedited service.

I placed an order for a book called 10,000 Drinks. $14,96 free shipping. The best price. I double checked and their website indicated that the item was IN STOCK. Well, 2 minutes later I received an e-mail with my confirmation number. But it was written, out of stock and that I wouldl be charged only when the item ship. DeepDiscount does that all the time! And get this. You have to fill out a form to cancel your order! And it is well-hidden that form. No, the price is great, but never again. Pay extra and get better service.

I ordered a Taylor Swift CD and several DVDs. The ones that were in stock were shipped immediately. Several were mailed over the following three weeks. One didn't make it in time for Christmas, but I have been sent an e-mail saying that it had been shipped. I will definitely use this merchant again. The prices were very good and the items arrived in good condition.

I purchased a DVD online and my credit card was charged on December 2, 2008. On, or about, December 8, I attempted to log onto my account to track order. Website would not recognize my account!!! Called the help line and after interminable automated voices, finally contacted a representative. This representative did find my order, indicated the unit was mailed on December 2 and should arrive no later than December 12. The representative had no information concerning my account failure.
When I attempted to receive my Password through the login mechanism at DeepDiscount, I received a reply there is no such E-mail address on file with them. If this is so, how did this survey organization receive my E-mail address?
The item has not been received as of today, December 13!!

Item was out of stock, but I expected an estimated ship date in my order confirmation. When I did not(This is a Christmas gift), I sent an e-mail inquiry. The response was basically that they had no idea, but not to worry - I wouldn't be billed until it shipped. I found that reply unacceptable. I decided to wait a week before cancelling the order and buying it from another source. Then it just showed up in the mail. So I did get what I ordered, basically on time but the customer service was frustrating.

I have been shopping at DeepDiscountDVD for years. Sometimes the DVD is backordered, but they send it when it comes in. Their prices are fairly reasonable (for retail), and the free shipping is great! When looking for a DVD I always check out their site first.
