On the day I ordered the item, the merchant emailed us and said that the shipment was being held because the ship to address didn't match our billing address. This kind of made sense from a security perspective, but even after an explanatory phone call to their customer service dept. to explain that we bought this item for our lake house, they still couldn't ship ithout a call from our credit card company, which seemed to be unusual, to say the least. Once that was OK, they told my wife that they would ship that day, the 12th of May. On the 17th, I called to say I hadn't received the item, and hadn't even received any shipping or tracking numbers. Now, the sotory changed to"we haven't received the item for the manufacturer yet, but don't worry, we'll get it in this week, and ship it right out to you, and we'll e-mail you with the tracking numbers". I called again today, the 24th of May, and they STILL don't have the item to ship! I hope that they are "legit", and not a scam, but at this point my confidence level is not too high. I am also in the retail business as a president and CEO of a large chain of 650 stores, and I would be very upset if we treated our customers this poorly. If they don't have an item in stock, they shouldn't say it will be shipped today. Hopefully I'll get the item as advertised shortly.

Actually, the problem with my order was that the model I wanted was not in stock. It showed "in stock" on the search engine I used, but may not have shown "in stock" on Digital Craze's site. My order was cancelled because it was too much of a delay to wait.

Hopefully the purchase will arrive in the expected time frame. The WEB site stated "In Stock" but it was not and I received a call advising of this, for me it was not a problem but should not have been noted as "In Stock"

the initial process was great. I found what I wanted, the order process was straighr forward, I even recieved a follow-up call explaining my order would ship the next buisness day. the process has broken down since then. the shipper called and wanted to deliver the package @ 4:30 AM!! When I said that was unacceptable he said between 1-5:30 PM. I agreed to this and wanted some assurance it would be delivered then. He agreed and I thought that was it. Until he called back saying "SOMEONE" had spoken to me but the merchandise had not arrived so it would be a few more days until they can deliver. there is one more buisness day before the last date to hear from the shipper. If i do not hear back I will be canceling the payment on the grill and refusing shiment.

Order was "back-ordered" several weeks and never received it. No communication with customers via telephone or email. Very rude when attempted to call them via phone. Would keep telling me "another few weeks." Do not understand why this company has such a high rating on shopping.com. My experience with them was abysmal. Please be weary when ordering from them. The company is actually UNCLES STEREO INC. in CARTERET, NJ.
