My Observations and assumptions:
It looks like this company and many of its sisters (registered somewhere in Brooklyn, NY) make their margins only on accessories. When you are shopping for something at incredibly low price, as I was for Sony DCR-TRV70, a refusal to buy additional accessories would leave these guys without any margin and, thus, incentive to fulfill the order (here come sold items and other pleasures, until you cancel your order).
Initially I was interested in buying some accessories and spent additional $150 ($20 higher then the same selection at Amason). As the result, on-time delivery, no back calls, very delightful customer service, tracking number, and superb product!
Who knows, may be this is the rule of the "game". Just let these guys make their living.

Great Work Digital Mega Store.  6/5 Ordered Samsung Blu Ray at the lowest price I could find, by far.  6/7 email requesting call to confirm purchase.  DMS then Confirmed by email, Invoice was Priced as quoted on line.  Shipping Free as quoted on line.  6/8 email confirmed shpment and included a tracking number and a phone number for ups.  Checking that day UPS showed it would deliver on 6/12.  Today, 6/12, they delivered.  Boxed in a larger, air pillow cushioned box, it is in great shape.  Original, factory sealed Samsung box with a packing invoice enclosed.  I can not speak to the operation of the player itself, as I am waiting for my new tv....if there is a problem, I will create a new notice on forum...but my experience with Digital Mega Store was perfect, in every way.  KUDOS to them

I had a good experience shopping with Digital Mega Store. The item I wanted (Sony PC330 digital camera) was shown as in stock on Shopping.com and it was. There was a mix up on method of shipping, but they caught it before it was sent out. The camera arrived when it was supposed to and included everything advertised. I compared prices on the Minolta Dimage Z2 camera and Digital Mega Store had one of the lowest prices, beating local stores and some internet competitors by as much as $90. (I previously had tried the lowest priced store, which was another $20 cheaper. They were extremely rude and wouldn't ship for 4-6 weeks after I declined any overpriced accessories.) I tried Digital Mega Store next, choosing them because of their price and the number of positive experiences other buyers have had. I ordered by phone on Monday afternoon, verifying first that they had the camera, that it was not a gray-market item, and that they ship promptly. I received slight pressure to purchase accessories but declined. I received e-mail confirmation and a tracking number on Tuesday and received the Minolta Dimage Z2 camera on Thursday. I ordered a Sony TVR38 online I recvd a call from DigitalMegaStore about 1-2 days later to confirm my order and to try to sell me an accessory package for about 99.00 as I told him no he tried to sell me cheaper packages and he finally decided to stop and say ok and told me that my order will be shipped within 24 hrs. I didnt think he was rude or unprofessional because some people from New York naturally rude. I recvd a tracking number via email and tracked it the whole time. I recvd it in the time specified but the only problem was that it was left at my front door whereas the website indicated it needed to be signed. My order was done right the first time and I will order from them again. Oh btw my product did not come with a UPC number which concerned me. I contacted the store and the lady said they do not provide a # because they are not a authorized sony retailer. I dont know about that because it makes me still feel weird

Very good service. I accidentally put wrong credit card number on the order form, they called me several times until they reached me and then processed the order very quickly. I ordered the Sony T-1, it came securely packed and as described. WOuld do business with again. I did get follow up calls to buy accessories, but when I declined there was no pressure.
