I adore Dillards. Even when I was rollin' in it I avoided places like Saks and those other uppity stores. Why spend the extra moolah when places like Dillards have the same quality for less? When it's any item of clothing I need, it is absolutely a ...
I live in Arkansas. Dillards is the most shopped high end department store in the state. So naturally while planning my wedding I have been using online stores and services to pull it al together. We only have 69 days left! Since the only shopping I can ...
A Fashionista I am not, although sometimes I would like to be, especially when I come across some of the sweetest deals on apparel and the lot at Dillards. If you think pecan pralines are delicious and eBay has terrific deals then I have a treat in ...
As a Yankee transplant, I was thrilled to discover Dillards when I moved to Texas. Growing up in Michigan, my childhood was filled with elegant department stores such as the long-defunct Gilmores, Jacobsons, Hudsons and Marshall Fields, so the elegant, ...
As a former employee for over 3 years, when it came time to pulling merchandise for internet sales... many employees do not even bother looking for the item. If the website says it is in stock... it usually is. Granted, there are times when we ...
I have placed two orders with Dillards.com in the last year using a credit card. Both orders placed showed items in-stock and ready to ship (did not show low inventory or clearance merchandise). After I placed my orders I received an email with ...
Excellent! Great prices and quick delivery!! by jensten ,Dec 28 '04
We received a set of wine glasses as a gift for our bridal shower. We loved the glasses so much and we wanted to buy matching goblets as well. I went to local stores and saw them for $75. Other department stores had them on sale for $50 but Dillards.com had them for only $30. That was a great price. The website was easy to use. Delivery was on time. And everything went smooth from there.
I will not shop there again. Not dependable nor trustable. by hkfpe ,Sep 05 '06
I placed an order from Dillards.com. The prices for the items were relative inexpensive (possibly a price mistake). At that point, the products did not appear to have any ordering constraints. I placed an order and it got accepted. I was happy that I just purchased something I liked and it was a very good deal.
One week later haven't heard from them so I emailed and called them. They told me I did not make the qualifying purchase therefore they could not honor my order. I told them at that point there were nothing said about qualifying purchases and they insisted there were. Even if there were something said about qualifying purchase they should not have allowed me to order the items.
It appears Dillards.com will not honor what they posted in their website. My feeling is Dillards.com is not dependable and you will never know if you're going to receive your order. I have much better experience with other internet stores.
Be careful when shopping online with dillards.com. by gluttrell ,Oct 14 '08
I ordered three sets of Noritake Colorwave dishes and matching serving pieces from dillards.com, July 21, 2008. Dillards sent 12 email confirmations over a three month period while shipping the serving pieces separately. After shipping the matching pieces Dillards canceled the sets of dishes. This used to be called bait and switch. My only advice is to instruct Dillards to send everything in one shipment or not at all. This is very shoddy business.
like ordering online in 1992, slow and awkward by blueflygreen ,Aug 04 '09
The online ordering system seemed a bit antiquated in my opinion. The confirmation emails take a while to arrive, and when you check your order status, you get sent to a static page that looks like a printed page (contrast this with, for example, even jcpenney.com). Also, shipping is really slow. 7-10 business days is 2 weeks, and shipping costs $9 (or more)! I only shopped there because I had a gift card to use. Otherwise, I would pass. Macys.com, Jcpenney.com, and Nordstrom.com are much more friendlier to use.
Epinions.com periodically updates pricing and product information from third-party sources, so some information may be slightly out-of-date. You should confirm all information before relying on it.
