I have never had such a difficult time ordering products online. I ordered 5 items, and of these items: 1 was damaged, 1 was the incorrect item, 1 was incomplete (1 bottle instead of 2), 1 was backordered (and they didn't tell me - I had to call several times to find out the status), and 1 was fine. After several long phone calls to attempt to correct their errors to no avail, I canceled the whole order. They charged me for the whole order (even the backordered and missing items), and I have been waiting 2 weeks for a credit to my account. Customer service manager Dave Gachette provided me with excuses of their bureaucratic process and reasons they can't issue me a credit immediately. DON'T SHOP HERE.

I ordered a second roll of wall border and a pillow from Dreamtime Baby for my baby's nursery and it took over 2 months for them to send it (and it wasn't out of stock - I got it in less than a week from another vendor). I had the hardest time getting ahold of customer service to do anything about it. It was so difficult to speak to someone that I started to think it was some kind of shopping scam web site I purchased from or that it was a legit company that went out of business! I won't trust purchases for my baby with them again.
I ordered the ABC crib bedding set from Dreamtime Baby recently and was very impressed with both the price and speed of delivery. The crib set was priced $40 cheaper than anywhere else on the web, and it showed up on my doorstep in just under two weeks. Since ordering the crib set, I have ordered from them twice more and have been equally impressed with speed of delivery, accuracy of order, and customer service. I would highly recommend this merchant!
Horrible experience. I will not shop here again. I ordered the Kwik Cabana sun tent on a Friday, by the next Friday I still hadn't gotten a shipping confirmation email so I called customer service. After waiting for 31 minutes to talk to a person, I find out that my order isn't even processed yet and that I MIGHT have my order within a week. Unacceptable. Now I know why the products are cheap and shipping is free. I cancelled my order with Dreamtime Baby and ordered the same tent at another online store. I ordered it at 6:30 p.m. and it was shipped later that same night. There's no reason why you should have to wait 2 weeks for an in-stock item when ordering online.

Merchandise arrived on time. It was a crib set that was not exactly what I envisioned. I decided to return it, but you need to receive authorization for returns. This is where the trouble began. I called and emailed for WEEKS!! The email response was automated and told me to call for a quick, prompt response. I couldn't get a person on the line. I received the same all operators are busy message. After being on hold for so long, it allowed me to leave a message. I left message after message. This went on until the 60 return period nearly expired, so I deputed the charges with my credit card. I showed them the emails and the log of my phone calls and they finally credited me back for the charges!!!

Watch out for this one. I ordered a car seat that was supposedly in stock and would ship within 48 hours. It never showed up on their tracking despite the fact that they e-mailed me a link. I called their customer service number 3 times and each time got a message saying the wait time would be 22 minutes. On the fifth day after ordering I finally waited over 30 minutes to get a real person and was told my seat was back-ordered to December. I never got any other notice from them regarding the back-order, but even worse was that they had already charged my credit card and wouldn't even have a seat to ship for more than a month. Given that it was too hard to contact them for updates, etc. and that I didn't want to pay for a seat a month before I got it, I cancelled the order and bought from someone that answered their phone.

Service rep. was able to answer all of my questions, and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I originally went with Dreamtime Baby to purchase a gift, and ended up buying a carseat for myself, too. Dreamtime Baby was awesome!!! I ordered the Britax Marathon in Mariposa on Sunday night and installed it in my car the following Thursday...only four days later! Not to mention that between the free shipping, the sale price, no tax, and a discount code applied at checkout, I saved over $65 from the retail price. I will definitely be shopping there in the future!

Two days later, I received an email from DreamTime stating the car seat was on back order for another 2 weeks (mid-January) which was still ok. A week later, I received yet another email stating the car seat would be on back order til mid February!!! This was totally unacceptable. The website stated the car seat was in stock..this obviously was a ploy. I would never order from them again. Something like a car seat is time sensitive. My son would grow out of one by the time they would actually deliver one!!!

AWFUL!!!! I ordered a Sprinkles the Elephant Comfy Cozy by Baby Gund and was shipped the WRONG item. When I tried to resolve the issue, I could NEVER talk to anybody. I ordered a car seat from Dreamtime, and at first everything appeared to go smoothly. Then I after I was unable to track my order, I got my first "your product is back-ordered" email. After the third back-ordered email, I began to get worried. They were able to successfully charge my credit card within 48 hours though... even though they didn't have my order fulfilled.
Once I saw their advertisement on-line that they will ship ALL car seats within 48 hours, I decided I had had enough, and cancelled my order.
I think it's terrible that they claim to have products in stock, and even run sales on those products only to have the order delayed by a month. I could have probably dealt with this mess if they hadn't charged my credit card RIGHT away and then advertised a wonderful (yet COMPLETELY) untrue on-line advertisement of a 48 hour shipping service.
I would never order from this site nor recommend it to anyone ever!
My wife and I ordered a diaper bag from Dreamtime baby. We expected a typical 1 or 2 day delay until it was shipped. It wasn't until the order was accepted that we saw that it would take several weeks to be shipped. We still don't have this bag.

Trusted Seller??? I wonder how much money Dreamtime paid for that. They're real quick to charge your credit card. But when it comes to returning calls, replying to emails, or shipping your order...not happening. I placed my order, my card got charged the same day, and my order just sat there for a week. I emailed and called, and all I got was the same auto reply...."normally takes 24-48 hours to reply". I finally got someone to cancel my order, but I still havent received the credit back on my card. Take my advice, stay away from Dreamtime. They're a nightmare.

This company is horrible! They do not ship merchandise, they lie about shipping dates and what will be shipped. We ordered merchandise three weeks ago and finally got through to a customer service rep. after 15 minutes on hold. He told us ALL of our merchandise would be shipped in the next few days. One item showed up two days later. Called them back and was told the same story but they were more rude this time. So we are reversing our charges on our credit card and cancelling the order. You may save money with these folks, but you sure do get what you pay for as far as service. Why does it take them so long to ship, when other online merchants can ship the same merchandise in just a few days? They have an expired BBB reliability seal on their site. What a joke! I would recommend nobody ordering from this online disgrace! They take what should be a happy time and bring hassles into it.

Item was not in stock even though they claimed it was. After cancelling the order they went ahead and shipped the items 45 days later. I was then told that if we refused the delivery I would be credited within 3 to 5 days. It has now been over 3 months and I still haven't gotten my money back. Do not order from this website!! I ordered a Peg Perego infant car seat from Dreamtime Baby. When I received no information regarding the shipping status, I called them and was given the run around by approximate 4 different people. Each had a different story about why they hadn't shipped the carseat. They finally admitted that they did not have it in stock (despite stating that they did on their site) and were drop-shippping from the manufacturer. After 5 more days, it hadn't shipped from the manufacturer. I called to cancel the order and I was told they would have to call me back after they confirmed that the manufacturer had cancelled it. They did not call me back. To make all of this more outrageous, they charged my credit card, the day I placed the order. I still am waiting for them to credit back my credit card and confirm the cancellation.
I am very happy about my experience with Dreamtime Baby. Their prices were significantly lower than any other store. Also, I anticipated waiting two to three weeks for delivery of my items, but it turned out to be less than two weeks! I could not be more pleased.

I was notified 4 weeks later that the item is on backorder and that I would not receive it until the end of November. I emailed, called, everything you can possibly think of for MONTHS to get the credit issued back to my card, and i never received any response. This company is completely backwards. I was considering purchasing the Graco DuoGlider LXI Double Stroller (GGG Collection ). The shipping charges listed are very misleading. According to the Epinions.com site, where the different store's prices are listed, the shipping is free, but when one clicks on the Dreamtime Baby link, at the very bottom of the item description, one finds that there is a $20.00 oversized item shipping fee. It appears that shipping is not free after all. I think I will stick with BabyAge.com where I can get the item for $179.99 and pay only $5.95 for shipping.

Placed order for Peg Perego Aria stroller. Two weeks later (after they billed my credit card) I had yet to receive stroller. After being on hold for 1hour plus I was told that my stroller was out of stock and that it would be shipped from another location.
So why did it take two weeks for Dreamtime to figure out that they did not have it in stock. Why did I have to call (and wait for 1 hour plus) to be told the above. I should add that we also left two voice mails that were unreturned !!!!
Horrible seller. They charged my credit card on 6/26 for a train set and 6 weeks later I still have not received it! Finally called them and they claim that it was shipped out last night. I wish I had read the customer reviews before purchasing a baby jogger from Dreamtime Baby and I would have known the customer service is extremely poor. I ordered a BOB jogger on March 21 and as of today (April 21) I have not received my stroller. I have made multiple attempts to follow-up on the status of my order which usually result in 30-45 minutes of holding on the telephone. When I finally get a customer service representative, they tell me they will check on the order, but no one calls/emails me back. I finally found out that the item is no longer In Stock and was told I will have to pay $30 more to get the 2006 model. I have left a message with their corporate office (BabyUniverse) but don't expect to get a return call from them either. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

My shopping experience with Dreamtime baby is the WORST!!! THEY TOOK FOREVER to answer e-mail or phone messeges after waiting for hours for phone to connect. They did not deliver for over three weeks and they only have 4 people working in the customer service dept. They also shipped your product one by one so if you have 10 products, expect more than 5 shipments which probably will arrive in more than 2 months time...hahaha...they make you frustrated and angry. This was critical to me as my carseat had been in an accident and I need a new one right away. Come to find out they charged my card despite knowing they were back ordered by about two months. Terrible, Terrible, customer relations policy. I think there is ONE man who works there and answers the phone "hello"!! I was told my order was being put together and would ship. Well, two weeks later I get ONE item from my order and it was damaged!! I'm told Fed Ex will be calling to schedule a pick up and of course that hasn't happened. Terrible. My order came in a timely manner, but it was all downhill from there. I opened it and discovered it wasn't really what I was looking for, so I decided to return it. I used both e-mail and phone to contact them to do so, but it took more than the 60 days I had to return it to actually contact someone. Then, I immediately sent the package back. This was on June 26. Today I received an e-mail stating that they gave out a Return Authorization number on June 26 but never received the return. I'm out $85 plus the $20 it cost in postage to send the package back. This is the worst experience I have ever had ordering something online.
This merchant was extremely disappointing. I ordered a Britax car seat and heard nothing from Dreamtime Baby other than a confirmation email. I sent an email requesting status of my order after ten days and never received an email back. I then called and was on hold for twenty-five minutes. When I finally spoke to someone, I was told the item was on backorder (was not previously informed of this) and it would be another three weeks before I would get the car seat. I called the next day to cancel my order and their after hours service answered and they could only send a message to Dreamtime Baby with my request. I then called the next day to confirm that my order was canceled and I was on hold for twenty minutes. My credit card had already been charged and now I have to wait for a refund. In short, their hold times are ridiculous, they operate on East coast time only until six o'clock, and I should have been informed the item was backordered.

My experience with this vendor was extremely poor. The items were on back order and some never arrived. I ended up cancelling the order and have been waiting over two months for a credit. My order qualified for free shipping and the merchant went back and charged me for shipping after I placed my order. Customer service has not been very helpful. They only take care of one or two of the issues when I call, but never take care of all issues. I even sent an email to the president in response to an email I received requesting customer feedback. I never received a response.

This company is not registered with the Better Business Bureau due to non-renewal, their business license is expired,the 310 exchange is no longer in service, and they do not return calls, emails or fax. If you notice the positive feedback from this company is mostly from 2003 and the negative feedback is from 2005 until now!!! I would be willing to bet it is new owners! I ordered close to $400 worth of bedding however the site showed no order history for me nor could they track my order. I had to go to my bank to dispute this transaction due to no communication from Dreamtime Baby! Pay full price at a retail store and save yourself the headache!!

This place is a total JOKE!! We're expecting a baby in two weeks and we ordered a complete crib bedding set back in April. It finally arrived but the wall border wasn't with it. They said it was on back order. Well now it's mid July and still no item. I called to check on the status last week and this kid answered the phone by saying "Hello". It took him forever to even find my order in the system and then some other guy came on the line and LIED to me. He told me last week that it would be sent by 3 day air and it still hasn't arrived!!!! Something is seriously wrong with this company. Psychopathic clowns are running it!! If you love waiting, being lied to, and have money to burn, then they're for you.
I tried to order a car seat adaater for a Bugaboo Frog from Dreamtime Baby. What they don't tell you up front, is that most orders take 2 to 6 weeks to ship. You find this out after you get the confirmation screen. Unlike most shops, Dreamtime Baby charges your card IMMEDIATELY as opposed to when the item actually ships. This is bad business in my opinion.
I was able to find the part at a local dealer who had several in stock and for a few bucks less. So when I tried to cancel the order, I was sent directly to "your call is important to us" hell. After 11 minutes, you are dumped to voicemail regardless, so you have to call back. The best part is that NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK! Right now I'm looking at disputing the charges and this seems like it's the only way to get their attention. Save yourself the hassle and don't order from such an inept online store.
I ordered a crib set and an extra crib sheet at the beginning of April. The crib set arrived with no problem however the crib sheet was on back order. It was supposed to arrive 2-3 weeks later. Wrong representation of what is actually "in stock". I ordered a carseat that was suppose to be "in stock" over a week ago, and they were suppose to shipout within 48 hours after ordering. I ordered my item back on March 12th and was later sent a confirmation of my order and told that it was on backorder until April 15th which was not a big deal. I emailed them on April 14th when I noticed the item no longer said on back order on their website. I received no response so I emailed again on April 19th when the item showed on back order until May 31st. I've emailed two more times and tried calling their 800 number twice -- still no response. I truly don't mind it being on back order until May 31st but I would have liked to have received a notification of it being a longer wait and I would love to have someone there answer my emails and phone calls!

I am not happy at all!!! I ordered 7 items May 23, 2006, they charged my credit card 2 days later. I still haven't received 4 of my items. I have e-mailed and called and when I finally get a response they tell me the rest of my order will be shipped at the end of the week but I never receive it. I hope this will prevent someone else from getting into the mess I did.
This is a horrible company, I can't believe that there are actually positive reviews about Dreamtime baby. I wish I saw this website before ordering, because I would never have wasted my time. I ordered a simple light switch plate almost 6 weeks ago and I still haven't received it. I sent an email that I only got an autoresponse from, they never bothered to write me back. I called three weeks ago and was told it would be shipped that week and I would get an email for tracking my package. Wow, nothing yet. I'm going to call and cancel my order, but I read another review where a guy who canceled is still waiting for his money to be returned, so I'm probably out of luck. STAY AWAY FROM DREAMTIME BABY!! Don't listen to the positive reviews.

Awful experience! The web site promised the item to be shipped in 48 hours. Called them 2 days later to learn that information on the website was not accurate. No word on when exactly it will ship and no way to cancel the order. No expression of guilt or just understanding from customer service. $10 savings is really not worth it. Scam!

The prices are great but don't buy anything you need soon! I ordered a car seat on March 5th, was told that it was likely to ship out within 48 hours. I hadn't heard anything in a few days, but my card was charged, so I emailed only to find out that it was back ordered until the 12th and I would receive a confirmation email upon shipping. No biggie, so I wait until the 12th, no email, so I email them, turns out now it's back ordered until the 20th. Okay, I can live with that, though I'm very disappointed, but the price is so good I hold out. Today is the 20th and I got an email saying now it's back ordered until April 15th! I have canceled my order of course by now, but I wanted to warn anyone who might order something they need anytime soon.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I ordered a Britax Marathon car seat through the website on 3/5/07 and they charged my card the following day. Today is 3/20/07 and the car seat has not been shipped because it is backordered. I've spoken to customer service several times over the last couple of weeks and they continue to give different dates as to when the item will be in stock and now the item isn't scheduled to be in stock until 4/15/07. I finally cancelled my order and ordered from another company. I'm wondering how long it will take to credit my card. I will never order from dreamtime baby again!

I helped my daughter look for the best price for the Graco ESL Snugride Metropolitan. I found Dreamtime Baby had the best price and showed that the item was IN STOCK. She ordered the carseat and expected to receive it in the specified time. When the order didn't arrive, she contacted the company. It was backordered for 2 more weeks even though they said it was IN STOCK. She was not notified of the delay in any way and her credit card was charged. She waited again with no results. Several calls to Customer Service got her nowhere and nothing but frustration---very inept. She finally called to cancel her order and was told her account would be credited in 2-3 days. After it wasn't credited, she had already ordered another carseat from a different company in California. She already has the car seat from them and still doesn't have her refund. Neither she nor I would ever recommend this company
Dreamtime baby has terrible customer service. I found a lower price on another site online and called for a price match since Dreamtime Baby offers a lowest price guarantee. I waited on hold for about an hour total time. When I finally spoke to a representative, she informed me that they will not match prices from walmart.com. This wasn't stated anywhere on their site in small print, so I feel it is false advertising since apparently they do not honor their "lowest price guarantee". I asked to speak to the supervisor but she had "just left for lunch". I will never consider buying anything from this website again, because I cannot even imagine the grief and difficulties I would have dealing with their customer service if there was a problem or mistake with my order.

There is no contact through email. I had sent two email's asking the status of my order. I never received one response. By calling the company I had found my order did ship by FEDEX. 3 weeks after I placed my order. It does not take that long to fill and ship a order. The shipping charges are way to high. I paid a whopping $8.00 for two small items.
I was very dissapointed to find out that the fleece blanket and the lamp was not in stock. And also I found out that the price was much better at another store, and if I´m going to shop online again i won´t be shopping at dreamtimebaby.com, I´ll shop at babysupermall.com. The website was very user friendly, ordering online was fast and efficient. Customer service was very good, everytime I called to check on the status of my order, or if I had any questions, they were very responsive and helpful. Although the items I ordered had a fast "2 week delivery" posted on them, I didn't really get the items in 2 weeks, I got them in 2 weeks, 2 days later. I had a problem with the product I received, and there was no invoice in the box for me to return the product for an exchange. I ordered pink block letters for a kids room and one of the letters I received was blue and there was no way to return the product or contact the copmpany. I have shopped on line for years. There are better ways to notify customers if items are back ordered. First, when the order was originally placed a "backordered" message should have been on the item from the start so I could have chosen NOT to order it. Then, I only received one e-mail, days later, saying the item is backordered for 2 weeks. Other companies with backordered merchandise have kept in constant touch via e-mail letting me know the progress of the order. I heard nothing from this company since the initial e-mail. All three items I recieved were damaged in shipping. I am still waiting over two weeks later after recieving the items for the replacement parts. Dreamtime baby's customer service in one week after delivery had not even spoken to the manufacturer, so we finally did. Since Storkcraft never "opened" an e-mail sent by Dreamtime, we were waiting in vain for the products. We are extremeemly unhappy with the entire experience and do not plan on ever using your company again. Also, I ordered a wall border and waited nealy two months to recieve it from the manufacturer. I recieved ONE CALL from Dreamtime stating that it would be delivered w/in the two week time frame, however, I waited weeks more and called your business to find that it would take an additional month. When I called to place my order, I inquired about the color of the legs extention kit, since I needed it to math my sage Mini-Cosleeper, and the kit for sale on the web page said that it was blue and it will not give me more specifications. The C.S. lady said she will find out if there was a sage kit available, she never call back. I called again giving the information to another lady from customer service, she said the first person that took care of me will call me back," I am still waiting for her call".
I did received the kit within 4 days of placing my order but it was beige and it did not match the Co-sleeper like it was supposed to, color wise and perfect fit, shape wise. I decided to keep it due to the need of lifting up my baby's crib so that we both can be more comfortable and I did not succeed in contacting Arm"s Reach directly, the internet will always bounce me back to your page.I do think that customer service attendants need a better training or supervision, so that you can have less dessapointed customers or to keep you from losing bussiness which I am sure is your goal.I do not remember their names or codes but my order # is 218194 if that will help you to track the C.S.attendants and make it better. I ordered my stuff 3 wks ago today and I have only received the lampshade and that is only because it was a mistake. I got someone elses order. After calling Dreamtime and being on hold for a hour I was told to keep the lampshade and my wallborder would be on the way. A couple of days later I was told that it was on back order and still to this day no one can tell me when I will recieve my wall border. It was disconcerting not to be able to track my order - apparently this is with certain manufacturers. Also, I ordered 2 children's car seats. The first arrived promptly, but with another person's packing sheet - for about a month earlier. I guess it had been returned. Seat looked fine so no problem. The second arrived a few days later. I can't understand why they wouldn't be shipped together, and because of the error with the packing slip I thought there may have been a misunderstanding with the order. We had a horrible experience with this merchant and will not use them again. They said they had a price match and when we called to get the price match, they would not honor it and so we cancelled the order. However, the next day I received a message saying that they were unable to cancel a portion of the order even though we cancelled in less than 24 hours after placing the order. I asked to return the item but we had to wait for it to "arrive" to cancel it. When it did arrive, it was left on our porch and when I called for the return, I had to send it back and pay for the shipping to return it. One of the reasons I chose to go through Dreamtime Baby for my stroller purchase was because the item was to be in my home in a week. I had to wait three weeks. I could have easily purchased the stroller somewhere else and gotten it on time. The stroller was essential to our mobility. When I called the company, they told me that the product was shipped to Montana instead of my house in Iowa. I am completely disappointed in the service I got and was only reimbursed $15. I would not shop at Dreamtime Baby again. I will tell all of the people I know about my one and only experience with Dreamtime Baby because it was not good. Not only do I consider this extra charge totally unacceptable, I would not have ordered the items from this merchant if I was informed during the time of ordering the items were on back order. the bad thing about the merchant is that they take too long to actually fill the prder and get it in the mail. they need to be much quicker about processing the orders then i would use them more often. Read more

I ordered these items off the internet and the items did not state backordered or out of stock. I called to check on the status of the order because my daughter weighs too much for her 40lb. car seat. They said that they would hope to receive a shipment of them from the manufactuer soon. It could be 2 weeks or so, but not much longer. I asked them to call me if they didn't get the shipment, because I would probably want to cancel the order. No phonecall came. I called again and they said it would ship out today 12-03-04, but I haven't received an e-mail stating the shipment. Thanks, Michele Read more

Dreamtime Baby had all the matching accessories and more to match my baby's room that I could not get where I live in the time that I wanted. My overall shopping experience went well and I would order from them again. My only suggestion would be to let the customer know PRIOR to purchasing the item(s) how long it would take, as some items are shipped quicker than others. This information was provided to me AFTER I had paid. Perhaps, they can tell us BEFORE we pay so that we know how long it will take.
