Exceptional Service! Great Selection!

I have ordered from Drs. Foster and Smith several times over the years, and have always been extremely pleased with the prices, selection, delivery time and customer care. I also enjoy the full color catalogs that I receive through out the year as well, showcasing beautiful dogs and cats with the products.
Just today I placed an internet order, and once it was sent through I realized I had made a mistake on the sizes of dog pajamas for my three pit bulls. I called customer service, and explained to the associate my dilemma. She said she wasn't sure if the order could be changed, but she would check. I also did not have my order number, but she was able to look up my order and fix my mistake.
She was friendly, efficient, and very helpful. I am definately pleased with their service!

We have shopped with Foster and Smith for years. Have been very happy with their products and customer service. Their pharmacy is also great. Their catalogs are also very helpful with pet health information. We highly recommend them!

Exceptional Service but don't purchase based on product comments.

My experience with Fosters and Smith was exceptional. I purchased an item that did not live up to the manufacturer's claims. They refunded and even sent me a UPS return label. They even helped me find a product that would address the shortcomings of the other product. The delivery time was very short, as they had the item shipped directly from the manufacturer. I contacted customer support three times and each time they were very helpful. The only complaint I have is that they edit comments that their customers leave on their web site. They do not allow negative comments about products that they sell. I have left 9 comments on their website. They have removed the two comments that indicated that a product should not be purchased for a specific application and the reason. The comments were not negative towards Fosters and Smith. The comments only addressed the manufacturer's claims. This leads me to believe that I can not trust the product reviews, but since they have such a good return policy, I guess that is OK.

Excellent customer service

I've been ordering dog supplies from Drs. Foster & Smith for a few years and have been very pleased with their products and customer service. I recently had an incident where FedEx failed to deliver to my home and when I notified Drs. Foster & Smith they replaced the items immediately rather than me having to hassel with FedEx.
They have answered all my questions immediately, and the representatives seem to be knowledgable about the products they offer.

Incorrect measurements for coat sizing, overpriced crappy dog bed.

Delivery speed was pretty good for my order, but I had to exchange an item and I shipped it priority. Over a week later and they still haven't acknowledged receiving it. I called and customer service said it usually takes this long or longer. I bought my dog the Kodiak coat and the measurements were way off. You have to pay for shipping back to them too so the coat got $10 more expensive. I also bought the Exclusive bed and it is really horrible. The cedar chips inside are big and bunch up in hard patches. i've gotten better beds for $15 from big lots. This was my fist purchase from F&S and will probably be my last.
